Everyone dug in and smiles and grins spread across faces right after the first bite or the first sip. Most of the little kids had started with the onigiri, others started with the miso soup, and only two had eaten/drank the two at the same time. The two were Sanemi and the youngest, Shuya.

Lunch had passed after discussions were discussed. Everyone had taken their dishes to the sink and cleaned them, then went to put them to dry. Sanemi went back to his room and decided to take a shift for the day. It was around 1, nearly, and he decided that he was feeling a lot better. In conclusion, he decided to call in for a shift. His boss obliged and told him the times that there was a shift. Sanemi decided that from 3-6 would be the best time for him that day. It had the usual pay and wasn't in the back so it wasn't going to kill his body like last time. Which was a win-win for Sanemi in his case.

Since work was in two hours he decided he would start getting ready at 2:10. And since it was exactly 12:43, he asked if Koto wanted to hand out at the park. That was after checking the weather, which would possibly rain at 4 so that was a clear "go" for playing at the park. Koto was really happy, he hadn't hung out with Sanemi like this in a few weeks, and he truely missed it. Sanemi did too.

They told their mother what they wanted to do and she was happy to say yes, but told them to come back by 2-latest. That was a win for them and so the two headed off to the park.

At the park Koto challenged Sanemi to see who could go higher on the swings, and both raced over to them.

They set one ground rule, well, two ground rules. The first one was that they couldn't get a head start and wouldn't touch the floor to help them, especially Sanemi from being taller. And the second one was that they couldn't kick or mess with one another to screw them over.

Sanemi lifted his feet and moved his legs backwards, slightly leaned forward and leaned back and swung his legs toward. He pulled his body toward with his arms and kicked his legs backwards again as he started to say back and forward. Koto had done the same, and they both fell into the same rhythm.

Sanemi had won. It wasn't too surprising because his build was bigger and stronger so he had an advantage, but the swings can only go so high so that left his win pretty close. Koto was really disappointed and challenged Sanemi again. Though by now Koto had lost those feelings and just decided to have fun, in challenges of course, even if he knew he wouldn't win.

Sanemi had checked his phone, it read 1:53. With that he decided to race Koto back to the house. Koto was already tired from the playing but wasn't going to give up. So that's what the two did, Sanemi won by the way.

"Ok, thanks kiddo for the fun." Sanemi said as he ruffled his brothers hair. "I'll be back after work around 6-7, unless I get distracted." He chuckled after the last bit.

"Please don't, our siblings get all upset and you worry them." Koto says, shrugging his shoulders, clearly annoyed in some way.

Sanemi bumps his shoulders into his younger brother, "Awww, did you forget to mention yourself?" He jokes.

"Hey! I... ugh, I guess. But I'm not worried about you! I just," Koto trails off.

"Ok ok dork. You worry about me, I get that, I was just messing with you." Sanemi explains. Ruffling his hair as well.

"Oh, jeez, just go already." Koto says, pushing his brother away.

"Haha, fine little dork. Bye kiddo."

"Bye."

Sanemi had catched his brother blushing. He figured getting embarrassed was a common trait in the family.

He went to go take a quick shower to cool down. Afterwards, he went to grab his uniform, after drying off of course.

Once he was done he headed to the door of his house, put on his shoes, and grabbed his car and house keys. He turns around after hearing his mom heading over.

"Come here." She beckons and Sanemi walks over and bends his body slowly foward to let his mom kiss his head. She goes on her tippy toes to kiss his forehead and comes back down smiling. The two's hight difference was grave. Sanemi raises his head and says his goodbyes and heads out to the door.

"Bye ma, be back soon."

"Bye sweetie." Shizu says lovingly. Waving at Sanemi as he returns it and heads out of the door.

800 words this was sort of just like a quick intermission chapter without much flavor, sorry about that. This story is going to be a slow burn lol, so stay put. Ok, bye bye! :)
