His feelings in the car were right. There was definitely something else in those drinks. Probably a little bit of a hit. Just to get the mind even foggier. Not the first time Uzui had done it. And not the first time Sanemi had fallen for it. He figured that he was going to be in the bathroom just a little longer than expected. After a few shits, Sanemi had finally finished. Turning on the air freshener he walked outside to explain to his family.

"Ugh." Sanemi groans, it's a common thing he does.
"Hey,... feeling better now." Shizu asks her eldest, Genya standing next to her.
He must've told her what happened.
"Kind of, I think Uzui strengthened the drinks again." He chuckles after. Whiping the remains of vomit on his mouth off.
"Awww, did you drive safely at least?"
"I did, no laws broken." Sanemi explains.
"Good, do you want anything before you head to bed?" Shizu asks, knowing the rodeo as it's happened countless times before, not just with Sanemi.
"A water would be swell." Sanemi says, heading towards the bedroom door to get the water.
"Nope." Shizu stops her son, putting a hand on his chest, "Rest, I'll go get it."
"Ma, don't I got it." Sanemi says, not wanting to bother her.
"Nope, you stay right in this room mister, I'll be back in a second."
And with that Sanemi's mother goes to get a glass of water and fill it up. Sanemi takes a seat on the mattress placed on the floor. Genya does the same to his right.
"Let us help please." Genya says.
"It's all fine, I have high tolerance, and it's not the first time. I don't know why you guys always insist to do this."
"We don't mind, all we want to do is help." Genya explains, for the hundredth time. Since every time Sanemi gets a little foggy he forgets. But Sanemi thinks hard about these words, something connects between the two and pulls them closer together.
Shizu enters the room with a glass full of water. Two ice cubes included.
"Here sweetie." Shizu says as she bends down and hands the glass to Sanemi.
Fully sitting on her legs Sanemi begins drinking.
He practically chugged it, fully drinking all the water with one sip. And chewing the ice.
"Ah," he exhales, "thanks." Sanemi says as he hands the glass, now empty, to his mom.
"Right, get some sleep honey, don't go to work tomorrow. Ok?"
"Ok." Sanemi answers.
Shizu nods and gets up, back onto her feet. She heads out the door but stops once in the doorway.
"Goodnight boys, sweet dreams."
"Will do." They say in unison.
And with that Shizu finally walks completely out the room and closes the door.
The room is dark, but bright enough with the moonlight so Genya and Sanemi can go to their side of the bed. Once they get settled they both fall asleep.
