Ch6: bitter reunion

In Jaune and Raidens dorm Ruby and Blake were asking Raiden all sorts of questions like what abilities does he have, what is Earth like, how many weapons does he have and does he have a girlfriend. Raiden just looked at both of them only confused by there barrage of questions but for some reason Raiden stared at Ruby because she looked familiar.

Ruby: Um Raiden. Why are you staring at me like that?

Raiden: Oh sorry it's just you remind me of Sunny.

Ruby: Sunny?

Raiden: Someone from my world. She may be younger than you but shes really smart.

Ruby: Wow I would really like to meet her.

Raiden: I bet you two would be great friends.

Announcement Glynda: Would Mr. Rodrigues please come the office.

Raiden: Looks like they need you.

Jaune: *sigh* I swear if it's about the bathrooms I didn't clog the toilets this time. It was someone else!

Time skip

Jaune was think of what Ozpin wants this time. All he wanted is to be left alone waiting word
from Roman for any news. As soon as he exited the elevator and entered the office he was greeted by an unpleasant sight. He sees his ex family standing before him. He was filled with utter rage and regret. Rage towards his father and mother even his sisters except Saphron for abandoning him and regret for even entering the room.

Ozpin: Ah Mr. Rodrigues it's good to have you.

Jaune: What do you want Ozpin and why are they here?

Ozpin: They wanted to speak to you.

Mr. Arc: Yes son we-

Jaune: I am not you son old man. Remember that you disowned just over a piece of paper.

Mrs. Arc: Son don't be like that. We saw how much you improved and we decided to have you back.

Jaune: That's it! You want me back just because I've gotten better? Well tough shit. I'm not returning! You made it clear that you all want nothing to do with me ever since you disowned me. The only people that I can call family are Saphron, her wife terra and their baby Adrian. They are the once that matter to me but the rest of you, I could care less.

Jane: Then I challenge you Little brother to a dual! If I win you rejoin our family.

Jaune: And what if I win?

Jane: Isn't obvious.

Jaune: Then I accept you challenge.

Ozpin: Glynda please set up the area.

Glynda: Yes sir.

Time skip

Everyone was now gathered at the arena to see that match between Jaune Rodrigues and Jane Arc begins. Teams RWBY, (J)NPR, and CFVY all went to see this fight play off. Finally both opponents are now entering the room with their gear. Jane now sporting Jaune's old Crocea Mors and his armor but Jaune he removed some of his enhancements and his face plate.

Jane: Come on!

Jaune: Ok... *unsheathed his sword but this time is emitted red lightning* let's dance.

Glynda: Fighters ready?... Begin!!!

Begin music

The fight was now on. Jane charged towards Jaune hope to catch him off guard but Jaune parried the sword. He then swong at her rest to slash at her but she put up her shield up to block the attack. But to her surprise the red lightning emitted from the blade once more and cut her shield like to was made of butter. To her shock she quickly jumped back hoping to get some distance between her and Jaune but he quick closed the gape and charged at her releasing multiple slashes at her draining her aura real fast. Jane tried her very best to try and party the on coming attacks but Jaune can read her like a book and fooled by swing in on direction stopping then swinging to his real target. Jane tried using her semblance which is speed enhancement but even with that she is still having trouble.

Weiss: How is he.

Raiden: Please he just toying with her.

Everyone: What?!

Raiden: When we fought he was faster, more skilled then ever. But he still he found joy in our fights but now, he's just making a joke out of her. And soon he'll end this immediately.

Jane was getting overwhelmed by Jaune's attacks not only she's failing to strike him back but also she can't even defend herself. Soon Jaune grabbed her face and slammed her onto the ground creating a small crater beneath. Then the bell rang signaling Jane's defeat and Jaune's freedom. Jaune then walked off the area and was tackled by Ruby and Blake both congratulating him on his victory, even his former team and friends even congratulated him but he slowly didn't care. Then Raiden came up and patted him on the back.

Jaune: Well if it isn't sussy Jack.

Raiden: What are you high from the fight?

Jaune: Let me check... yes. But that's besides the point, I'm finally free from my family's influence and can resume my goal.

Raiden: Well good for you. So what now?

Jaune: Now? *looks towards Blake and Ruby* Now I wanna take these lovely ladies out for a date tomorrow.

Both Blushed by his words and then both kissed him in the cheek. Pyrrha seeing this, she was full with jealousy at the two but who knows my be Jaune will forgive her maybe. As time passes on Jaune caught up with his sister Saphron and her wife and child and told him of his new experience as a new person which they now accept of who he is. Also he played with his nephew which the other find adorable even Raiden was moved my Jaune's actions. Then Raiden received a call from Blade Wolf.

BW: Raiden!

Raiden: Yes Wolf?

BW: Your theory was correct. Armstrong is back even the other cyborgs.

Raiden: Understood anything else?

BW: Not at the moment.

Raiden: Got it. Stay hidden and let me know if anything else happens!

BW: Roger that. Blade Wolf out.

*ends call*

Raiden: What are you doing Armstrong?
