VIVIANNE
Florida is okay, I guess. I'm sure I'm doing more than Juliette, though. I've been tanning and buying clothes with mom.
Today my parents wanted to go to a bar in town. So, I stood at the plaza in Miami, watching as most stores closed down for the night. I scrolled through my social media and when I looked up, I saw the hottest boy I think I've ever laid my eyes on. He was tall, had dirty blonde hair and beautiful green eyes.
I locked eyes with him, and I smiled. He walked over to me and sat down beside me. "What are you doing here so late at night?"
"I could ask you the same thing." I grinned.
He shrugged his shoulders. "I'm walking home from a party. If I'm out too late, my parents will notice."
"My parents are at the bar. They're too scared to let me stay at our hotel, so now I'm here."
He laughed, "Where are you from?"
"Well, I was born in Oklahoma, then we moved up to Kansas, and only like a month ago we moved to Massachusetts."
"Yeah, I was born here. I've never been out of state. I'm Andi."
"Vivianne."
"Nice name. Do you prefer Vivi or Anne?"
I chuckled. "Vivi. Anne sounds like an old grandma's name."
"So Vivianne, I'm guessing you're an only child?" Andi leaned against his knees.
"No, I'm not. I actually have a twin."
"Oh?" His eyebrows furrowed together. "How come she's not with you?"
"It's complicated. She didn't come on the trip with us. She's more of a, I don't know, 'I don't want to do anything' kind of girl."
Andi smiled, "I think twins are awesome. Are you two close?"
"Used to be. When we lived in Oklahoma we were inseparable, but then when we moved to Kansas last year, she and I went our separate ways. And it's been that way ever since, we're not really close at all. I can barely talk to her without somehow getting mad at her or her getting mad at me." I shrugged.
"Are you two identical?"
"Used to be. I changed when we moved to Kansas and she just stayed who she was. I was in need of a change."
"What's her name?"
"Juliette."
"Vivianne and Juliette. They sound nice together."
"Eh. I wish I was named Juliette. Vivianne is such a childish name."
"So you'd rather be named after Shakespeare?"
"Well, not really, but Juliette is a very nice name, you must admit."
"I admit, Juliette is a nice name. But I prefer Vivianne. It suits you." Andi smiled and my heart pounded. I could feel my cheeks getting hot.
"I miss Juliette sometimes. She's become very distant. I mean, I have too, but I at least try and talk. She barely acknowledges my existence, or my parents."
"Well, it depends, Vivi. Was she invited to this trip with you?"
"Well, I don't know. I don't think so."
"See, that's maybe why. It's not your fault she's become distant. It's that your parents aren't treating you the same. Maybe that's why she doesn't like talking to you guys. I mean, I of course could be wrong, but from the sounds of it, that's most likely the problem."
I glanced at him. "My parents care for her- I- uhm... they treat-"
"So I'm right." Andi smirked. "Can I get your number, Vivi?"
"Yeah! Of course!"
AUTHORS NOTE!!!
Uhm, this is more of a filler and a get to understand the sisters better. I guess you could also say you could understand the family dynamic that's going on better.
I know what I want Juliette's plot to be but in all honesty, I have no clue what to do with Vivianne.
Like keep in mind she's a good person, even if it doesn't really look like it. So I don't want any like Vivianne ruins Juliette's life because she wouldn't choose to do it.
Also, opinions on Andi???? :)
Keep in mind I haven't edited this yet!
