Liam POV:

"Huh?"

"You heard me, make way for the Hollow Family Industries Heir, Candy Hollow." She declared as she takes a trumpet from nowhere and plays it while rolling down a red carpet.

'Never even heard of it.' Looking behind me to see the other's reactions, 'They look shocked though.'

'Might as well play along.' I thought, as I nod and back up to the side, bowing right after. "Right! I welcome the-"

"LIAM STOP!" Candy exclaimed, "AND YOU. Stop this immediately, Miss Cross."
She scolded Nathalia while I back up from the sudden loud noise.

"But, Young miss-" she got cut off, "Enough." Candy declared before stepping inside and giving me an apologetic look.

Nathalia just stood there with a stunned look before stepping inside as well.

"O-okay, you guys can make yourselves at home, the food's already done, so follow me..." I trail awkwardly, walking to the kitchen with the others in tow, sending Wren a message using telepathy, causing the dragon to rush out his room in a slight panic.

"Oh, lunch is ready if you didn't know~"
He gave me a 'wtf' look before calming down, 'Questions are gonna be asked today... Lots and lots of questions." I thought while preparing the table with plates and utensils.

"Well then, [Sound Barrier]." I whisper, as a barrier only visible to me engulfs the whole kitchen.

Candy POV:

I felt a force covering all of us in the kitchen, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who felt it.

"What's happening..." I trail loking around, the others have the same reaction as me, except for Liam.

"Liam?" He looks at all of us, "Calm down guys, this isn't what it looks like."
He said plainly, before smiling.

"I already know that you guys have questions, so imma answer them right here, right now."

"What do you mean-"

"What's your goal exactly?" Nathalia cut me off, "Graduate and do whatever after." Liam said, "That's not a valid answer." She argued, basically giving the husky a deathglare.

"..." He stared at her unimpressed, before clicking his tongue and continuing.

"... I have an ability that basically allows me to see every single possibility and every single possible choice. So I chose the best outcome for my future. I won't reveal anything else beyond that." Nathalia's face contorted into a frown at his answer, "That's... understandable." She said before backing down.

"Your boots, they're-" Liam cut her off, "Dwarven enchantment magic." Nathalia goes silent, her frown changing into an annoyed expression, "Stop cutting me o-" "I didn't get to use these boots because I was too focused on garnering points in the exam. If you're gonna ask the enchantments on it I'll tell you." Alex perked up at this, "Please do." The fox answered, "Lightfall, Lightfoot, Friction II, And Frostwalker II." Alex looked confused for a second, "What enchantment is Frostwalke-" Liam cut him off again, "That answered most of your questions now, right?" He questioned, causing both Nathalia and Alex to nod slowly as he releases the barrier.

"Well then, time for food!" Liam turned around, tail swaying back and forth while humming a tune, walking towards the boiling pot.

"What was that..." I trail, "He knew we had questions, so he answered." Owen said, "Well, I'm pretty sure he was just making it clear that he had no ill intentions." He continued.
