Ashley's POV
After that awkward dinner that probably took like 20 years off my life that was already probably short, we went to Kelley's for a movie.
"I have popcorn!" She said walking to the little kitchen that we all had in our rooms.
I got really excited, because I love popcorn. "I want some!"
"I'll take some." Said Hatch.
"Me too." Said Lindsey.
"I call first bag!" I yelled.
"Calm down everyone! No popcorn if I can't figure out this microwave." Kel said.
"Let me help you." I walked over, and watched what she was doing that wasn't working.
"See? I clicked this button which is the number which is the time it's supposed to go in the microwave for, but nothing showed up." She said.
"Did you try opening it up first? That's how mine works."
"It still didn't work. See?"
Lindsey sighed. "Do you need help?"
"No! It's just not working!" I said, frustrated.
"Well." Lindsey walked over. "It appears that you haven't hit the 'on' button. That could help."
Kelley and I looked at eachother.
"Oh." I said.
"Which one is that?" She asked Lindsey.
"It's..." I looked at the buttons. "That one." I clicked it once I found it.
"It didn't work, genius." Kelley said.
"Well you have to click it on the top." Lindsey said, clicking the button and making it go on.
"What kind of magic are you made of?" Kelley asked.
"Well I have the brain cells that you two didn't make me lose from this conversation."
I just grumbled and walked to sit down next to Mal away from Lindsey.
Rose was playing back a video on her phone of us trying to figure it out. I side eyed her.
"You two are so helpless!" Mal was laughing harder than I'd ever seen her laugh.
"We are not!" Kelley said.
"Kelley..."
"We are not, Mallory."
"Woah woah, full name alert! Bet you don't know my middle name!"
"Oh I bet I do. It's..." I took out my phone to look it up.
"The internet? Really?"
"Yes, Mallory Diane Pugh. What's the internet for if you don't use it?"
"Well it;s not for looking up the middle name of the girl sitting next to you that you should probably have known."
"I think I can use it however I need to, Mallory Diane."
"DIANE!" Kelley was laughing her face off, rolling on the floor.
"It's not that funny, Kel." Mall grumbled.
"Let's watch this one." Sophia said, pointing at the TV.
"Ooh I love Pitch Perfect!" Rose said.
"It;s a good choice. I'm down." Said Lindsey.
