"Alright grandma! Ima head out and get you medicine, be back soon!" I called out before taking off down the new neighborhood.

Surprisingly there weren't as many people around as usual. I had moved here a week before school, and I've already gotten used to the streets.

I finally arrived in front of Vincent's drug store, opening the door the cashier greeted me.

"Hey Misses Chris!" I said walking up to the counter.

"Medicine?"

I nodded and she smiled turning around to look at her patients' names. I had been to this drug store in a matter of 3 times in one week.

Miss Chris turned around handing me the pill bottle before beginning "Try and make sure she doesn't lose this set. I'm afraid this is the last set she gets this month."

I frowned knowing what could happen if Nana lost it. I handed her the money nodding "I know, I'll try."

I was now walking down a shortcut that I found led to my neighborhood, bag in hand. "Watch out!" I looked up seeing a handsome boy running straight towards me. I stood there in shock at his handsomeness. Bam!

I fell back hitting the hard ground, ow... I opened my eyes to see the boy had landed on me. He quickly scrambled to his feet looking back. I peeked around him to see a giant dog running straight towards us.

"What the hell!" I screamed looking up at the boy who mouth the words "shit".

He quickly yanked me up, took a hold of my hand and pulled me to a building. He swung open the door, I guess this is the cinema. Oh right! A freaking giant dog was just chasing us, focus! I claimed my consciousness back. Benny leaned over panting in tiredness.

"What the hell was that?!" I asked shocked at how large that dog was. Once the boy caught his breath, he looked up at me in annoyance. "It's none of your business."

"Well excuse me! I have a right to know whatever the fuck was just chasing us." He rolled his eyes when suddenly the door busted open making the dog from earlier reappear.

"Shit!" I yelled; the boy grabbed my hand once again before running out into a movie room. We ran down the aisle the dog only inches away from us. People were screaming, unsurprisingly. I'd be screaming too if I saw a large dog chasing a pair of kids down the isle of the movie theater.

We made it out the theater room and were now out on the street. A large group of boys were waiting at the corner of the road.

"Benny!" A boy from the group yelled to which I'm guessing was the handsome boys name because he responded by yelling, "sandlot, sandlot, sandlot!" Benny huh? I thought still keeping up the pace with this boy. We ran down a dirt trail that soon led to a baseball field. The large group of boys were already there, "there he is!".

"Benny!" They yelled. Benny turned his head looking at me, "Your too slow!" And just like that he lunged me towards the group of boys letting go of my hand.

I stumbled into the boys who held me up. "Who are you?" A tiny kid with glasses asked. I balanced myself but before I could respond I heard a loud crash. I looked over to see the whole fence had fallen over. Dust flew everywhere making it hard to see what happened. "Benny!?" A small nerdy boy yelled.

I watched in shock with the rest of the boys waiting for the dust to clear. The sound of the dogs' whines was heard, Benny was the only one who made it out from under the fence. We watched as the dog struggled to get out from under the fence.

"Oh man." Benny sighed not knowing what to do. "Guys! Cmon!" The small nerdy boy cried running to the fence. "Someone! Please! Help me, he's hurt!" I looked to see all the boys just looked down, I ran over to the boy giving a small smile.
