"Meeting you, although seemed like a spur-of-the-moment thing, but, was in fact not! It was destiny, pure freaking fated destined magic!"

"Special Agent-in-training Sanjana Dubey, reporting, Sir!" She stated sulkily, showing her ID card to the man at the reception, before moving inside with a salute.

"Kitni ajeeb jagah hai, so grand, so ambient, I don't know what they even do here, lounge or train!" She murmured under her breath, as she took in the vivacious place around her, a soft frown resting on her forehead.

"Khair Mujhe kya, I toh just need to bear with this for one week only, and then I am free to go back to my Academy!" She thought to herself, before looking around, to search for someone who could guide her in the right direction.

"Excuse Me, Mai Sanjana Dubey-" She started, approaching some man whose back was to her, only to get startled, by the sudden force with which a knife was put to her neck.

"Hey, what the heck!" She shouted in disbelief, before raining her hands in mock surrender.

"The first rule: Even if you are visiting a trustworthy place, meeting what you think would be your most reliable appointments, then also, never let your guard down! Your enemy will first lure you into a sense of false security, only to attack you thereafter, when you are taken by surprise!" The man responded, a hood covering his face, such that she was unable to decipher his identity, before lowering said weapon, and whirling around to move ahead.

"Hey, but I was not told, ki I would be attacked the moment I step foot here, you know?" She called out indignantly after him, following his long strides, to catch up to him.

"Do you realize how lame you sound, right now, hmm? An attacker won't ever come with a warning, you know this right? Ya fir ye bhi na sikhaya, tumhari Academy me, huh?" He joked mockingly, his lips curving up at the sight of her getting riled up so easily.

"Meri Academy ne mujhe kya sikhaya ye toh tumhe kaafi jaldi pata chal jaayega, Mr. What-ever-Your-Name-Is!" She retorted with fire in her eyes, before taking out a gun from her jeans' holster and aiming it at his back, in one quick go.

"Ahh, toh madam ko kaafi jaldi gussa aata hai, it seems, hmm?" He teased, feeling the hard iron tip of the rifle poking at his back, "Bura mat maaniye, itni jaldi, maine toh ek chota sa majaak-" But he left his sentence hanging mid-air, as in two rapid motions, he turned around, and kicked her wrist with his shin, sending the gun flying straight into the air, "-nahi kar raha tha! Sorry, not sorry!" He finished, dusting his pants, before wiping his hands against each other, to rid them of residue gunpowder.

"Well, I am impressed, Sirji, par shayad aap ek baat bhool gaye, iss beech!" She retorted, awe coloring her eyes, as she suppressed a smirk that had been threatening to break out free.

"Kya? I, for one, think ki I successfully managed to disarm you, madam! Quite a show, it has been! I must say, you sure are a determined fighter! Pity, you did not manage to live up to my expectations!" He thought out aloud, disappointment marring his face briefly, before he cleared up his expressions, and lifted his eyes, only to realize that she had vanished.

"How many more tricks will you try, Miss Dubey, before realization dawns on your pretty self, that you can't outwit me, hmm?" He taunted before his legs were very neatly swiped from below him, and he felt himself crumbling down to the ground.
