Hannah's P.O.V

Davos came back with Melisandre just a few minutes later, she looked different to the last time I saw her, not as neat and proper as she was, she looked as if she hadn't slept a wink all night. I kind of knew how she must have felt.

"Lady Hannah, I will do everything I can to bring your love back to you." She said with her sickly sweet voice.

"Very well. Do what you can." She took a step forward, but I grabbed her by the arm. "But understand this, if you touch him in any other way than you're supposed to, I'll have your head."

"I understand m'lady, and I'm sorry for what I did."

I let her go, and she began her ritual. She began by cleaning the blood off Jon's torso after he'd been stripped of all his clothes, she snipped off small amounts of his hair and beard before throwing them into the fire, she rinsed his hair and finally placed her hands upon his chest, before reciting her spell...she spoke the words again...and again. My hands were beginning to shake and my heart was pounding, it looked like it wasn't working.

"Please, please come back to me my love." I whispered.

Melisandre stopped, and turned to look at me and Davos, the look in her eyes told me that the ritual was a failure, she couldn't bring Jon back. Tormund stormed out of the room, Melisandre followed and I couldn't bare it any longer, tears flooded my eyes and I ran out of the room. I couldn't bare to stay in that room any longer. Ed followed after me.

"M'lady, please don't do anything stupid."

"Just leave me alone!"

I ran to my room and flung myself down onto the bed, I began to scream and wail into the soft furs, this had to all be a nightmare, I just didn't want to accept it, I can't lose Jon, not right after he's asked me to marry him!

I laid on my side and pulled my knees up to my chest, I looked down at the ring on my finger, and instant pain started in my heart, like someone was squeezing it from the inside. I just laid there and continued to sob into my pillow.

I cried until my throat was red raw, but my heart still hurt more. I could hear some sort of commotion going on outside, I wanted to get up and see what was going on, but I just didn't have the energy to get out of bed.

I heard a light knock on my door and I groaned.

"Go away!" I whispered, my voice trembling.

"M'lady, there's someone out here who wants to speak with you." Ed called.

"I'm not in the mood to speak to anyone."

"I really think you should come and see them though Hannah, they seem very keen."

"Who is it?"

"Just come and see."

I sighed and slowly got off the bed, I didn't even bother putting my cloak back on, the second Ed saw me his face dropped in surprise.

"Gods, you look rough."

"No shit! How would you look if the love of your life was dead?"

Ed wrapped his arm around me and led me down to the courtyard, I didn't even look up, I just stared at my feet the whole time, my arms folded across my chest.

When we got to the top of the steps I finally looked up to see a mixture of wildlings and Nights watchmen.

"Where are they then?" I asked as Ed stepped away from me.

The sea of people slowly parted revealing someone stood right at the back of the group, it took a second for my eyes to focus since they were still blurred with tears, but when I saw them I almost thought that my eyes were playing tricks on me, or that I was going insane. It was Jon.
