Chapter 3: First Experience

She tries her best to drive as quickly as she can by overtaking most of the cars that was in front of the van. After the traffic light, she started speeding up again until they reached the bus station that Kanghyun had mentioned. The three of them gets off the van and she placed the key inside her pocket. "We'll split up. Yonghoon hyung and Dongmyeong are on their way." Harin said while putting on an earpiece on So Yeon's ear. So Yeon was taken aback by his action so she just stares at him while he was busy adjusting the earpiece in her ears.

He stepped back a few feet away from her after putting it and tries speaking "Can you hear me, So Yeon?"

She can hear his voice in the earpiece and replied with "Yes." He nodded and said "Speak with us through this. I'll go left, Kanghyun will go right, you'll go inside this park. Don't try to do things on your own. Call any of us when you saw the evil spirit" He motioned the park behind the bus station and she gave him an OK sign before walking inside. She was jogging, trying to find a person that could potentially murder someone.

"There's two of them. I think one of them is in the park. Gold bracelet, black cardigan. She's holding a-" So Yeon no longer heard what Kanghyun said as soon as she noticed the lady that matched his description. She was about to stab a teenager in front of her with a knife when So Yeon pushed her away.

She was scared because she knows it was a dumb move considering the lady had a knife and she had no weapon on her own. She did the first thing that came to mind because she didn't know what else to do at that particular moment. She never learned any self defense nor was involved in martial arts before. "Run!" So Yeon shouted at the teenager in which she hastily runs away.

Before So Yeon could call anyone on her earpiece, the lady stood up and aim to injure her but she manage to avoid her. The lady in front of her had red eyes for a split second and So Yeon assumed she had an evil spirit inside her. The lady kept going after her with her knife and she kept avoiding it until she felt someone chocking her from behind. She was almost out of breath but she managed to step on the person's foot so she could get out of the person's grip.

The lady took her weakness in her advantage and pulls her hair. She screams in pain but manage to punched the lady's stomach using her elbow. In result, she dropped her knife. So Yeon quickly takes it and aimed at the two. She was shaking in fear because now she have to deal with two person and the ratio is definitely not for her level. The person that chocked her was a man and he attacked her first. He grabbed her wrist and twisted her hand. The knife was dropped again but this time it was So Yeon's fault.

She tried to kick him but he quickly punched her in the stomach, making her to look like as if she's bowing to him. The lady puts both of her hand on her neck and attempt to kill her. She was terrified on what's bound to happen to her until the lady was kicked from her side. Her grip was released and So Yeon took deep breaths after that. She looked up and it was Kanghyun. While he was busy fighting the lady, So Yeon noticed the man was about to stab Kanghyun from the back. She hastily grabs the man's leg and pulls it as hard as she can. He fell backwards and she can hear his head hitting the ground.

She trembled in fear again. What if she had just killed him? Is she a murderer now? Even though she's trembling, she held her fingers out beneath his nose and she was relieved to feel air going in and out. He was still alive. She kicks the knife he was holding away from him so if he's conscious again, he would have to get up to retrieve the knife.

Meanwhile, Kanghyun puts his hand on top of the lady's left hand and pressed their hands on the right side of her chest. The lady was screaming and struggling but before So Yeon could stop him, Harin came and motions her to not disturb him. She saw the evil spirit leaving the lady's body while Kanghyun struggles to hold his hand still. He was sweating when the spirit finally leaves her body. The lady remains unconscious while Kanghyun dials the police officer's number to make a report on her.
