"Omma, where's So Yeon?" Yonghoon asked when he sees his mother without her. "It's best to leave her alone, for now. Unfortunately, I could only convey her bad news for now. I'll be off so take care son." She bid goodbye to everyone with a hug and while Yonghoon accompanied his mother outside, the others had the urge to check up on So Yeon.
Before they could do anything, they saw someone walking inside their music store while holding a helmet in his hands. He said nothing but scanned the room and smiled at Yonghoon, who greeted him when he walked in. He sat down at a chair where they usually had their meeting at and looked at Yonghoon.
"May I know where Kim So Yeon is?" He asked and they exchange looks with each other. "She's currently resting from her shift but may I ask why you wanted to meet her?" They were curious as to who he is so Yonghoon decided to questioned him.
He showed him, his police's batch before he spoke any further "I'm Seo Kang Joon from Crime Investigation Unit 2. I'm here to ask Ms. Kim a few questions today."
Realising this could be important, Yonghoon nudged Harin to go and get her but Kang Joon stopped him. "Don't worry, she knows I'm here. We kept contact with each other." The others nodded and went to their own sections in the store while keeping an eye on him. He seems very suspicious, suddenly coming in and said that So Yeon knew him but in the end, he's still an officer.
As he said earlier, So Yeon went out from the hallway that lead to the drum studio and she didn't look suprised at his sudden presence. She was talking on the phone so she didn't pay much attention to him as they thought she would.
"Sunbae is here. I've got to go." She hangs up and typed something on her phone before returning her attention to the officer in front of her. "What do you want, sunbae?" She crosses her arms and Kang Joon got up from his seat. He went closer to So Yeon and said "Answers. What happened the month before you went into coma? Your phone's off, you fought with Giwook every day, you went missing from time to time. You completely ignored me when I'm risking my job trying to help you back then. What happened?"
"Funny thing when you brought that up again because... I don't remember." So Yeon said, looking hopeless as she speaks. "You're joking, right? Then what's is this? I've kept it from the other officers because I want to know from you." He shows her a USB and an old stainless steel military style necklace.
"I didn't know you steal evidence?" She smirked before snatching the things from his hands to take a closer look. "I don't steal. I borrowed it from you. It was in your jacket, the night you... got hit in the head. They seemed to be looking for it. I overheard their conversation."
"So someone's curious." She chuckles and rolled her eyes, putting both of the things in her pocket. "I'm being serious, So Yeon. I want to know what happen so I can reinvestigate the case." He glared at her and their face was inches away. She looked at him in disbelieved. "And do you think I'm not fucking serious enough? What? Reinvestigate? Get lost, Seo Kang Joon ssi." She shakes her head and sat down on one of the chairs nearby.
"Maybe I was wrong the first time but it doesn't mean you have to work with thugs to solve this issue." Hearing him thugs made her snapped. "I don't work with them anymore. I'm not that dumb to work with them twice, Seo Kang Joon ssi."
"Calling names now? Coma had give you confidence, I suppose." He was being sarcastic while looking back at her and she returned back the same energy as him. "I'm not naive anymore. Coma had gotten rid of that for sure. Being naive made me become a fool in your eyes, right? I told you everything I know, I showed proof, I gather alibis from witnesses but it was never enough for you. I've had enough, Seo Kang Joon ssi. I would rather investigate myself than with an officer who pay no attention to the victim involved."
