50 minutes.
49 minutes.
45 minutes.

Time was going so slow. I looked down at my paper I had answered quite a lot of questions.

My phone starts ringing and everyone looks my way. I go red and scramble to find my phone when I find it see an unknown number calling me. I decline and go back to my test.

About 40 minutes later. The test was done I packed my bag when I heard "Alissa can you come here a minute?" It's the TA calling me.

I walk over to him. "Listen the scores you've been getting recently are fantastic maybe you could start tutoring?" He asked. No way tutoring is a no no. Did it before won't ever do it again.

It could bring in money though. Money I need. He sees my hesitation "you'll get extra credit." Ok now we're talking. Plus extra credit now I'm in.

"Ok yeah sign up some students and I'll do it." I agree he nods and says he will. I walk out of the lecture hall.

I see Brent waiting outside for me. "Hey bae." He links his arm on mine and smirks. "Hey you know Zack."

I freeze at his comment. He continues "I heard this rumour that you didn't go home early. Cathy Johnson saw you kiss him."

I freeze again. Oh my god I regret talking and kissing that asshole so bad. It wasn't even good.

"Lissa I won't tell anyone, but did you lie?" Brent carries it on. "Um." I start but my phone ringing cuts me off. Saved by the phone it's my Nana.

"Sorry I have to take this." I say excusing myself by walking off quickly.

"Nana." I say excitedly. "Alissa." She is not matching my tone at all. She's crying. Why is she crying.

"I can't find your mother at all." She's crying.

"Nana I wouldn't worry she's always gone. It's her thing." I tell her. Why is she so worried.

"No you don't get it she normally calls me or at least drunk texts me. But no calls or texts. I'm scared." Nana said I could hear her sniffling.

I had been walking to my dorm the whole phone call and now I was in.

"Wait Nana are you at our house is your caretaker with you?" I ask she can't be anywhere alone after her heart attack she usually has her caretaker with her.

"Who Linda hell no I hate that bitch. I always ditch her whenever I can." Nana responds laughing a little "but yeah I'm at your house I don't have a key I've been sitting on the doorstep since 8 this morning."

I checked the time. 2pm. "Nana knock next door at the Gallaghers they have a spare key ok."

"I will but honey I'm really worried about your mother. She's my baby." Nana cried. I felt like crying hearing my Nana cry.
