"Hey... Zero?" Komaru asks  once the group reaches a run-down hotel. "Do you even know where you're going?"

"I think I saw an entrance to a subway station while I was on my own. We should be able to get out from there."

"You must have a sharp sense of sight..." Toko says. "How much longer until we get there?"

"Just a few more minutes if you pick up the pace." Zero responds, and true to his word, they reach a locked shutter a few minutes later.

"Locked, as I thought." Zero muses. "If a station attendant is nearby, we should be able to get a key to open it."

"Well, at least we don't have to look far." Toko says, pointing out a station attendant's body on the ground, as Zero picks up the key, a Monokuma Kid pushes him from behind, taking the key.

'Bastard.' Zero thinks as he dashes forward twice and tackles the kid, taking the key back.

"Get lost." Zero says to the kid, getting up. The kid stomps his foot and groans as he runs off.

"Don't you think that was a little aggressive?" Komaru asks.

"Not at all." Zero responds, unlocking the shutter.

"Yay!" Komaru says. "If we go through the subway, we're saved, right?"

"Those little brats likely lined the place with Monokumas. We'll have to stay alive long enough to find out if this even does lead to an exit." Toko counters.

"Well, should we not go, then? If you say it's better not to, I'll trust you." Komaru asks.

"We're definetly going, we can handle them." Zero says.

"You're right." Komaru replies, heading down the stairs, followed by Zero and Toko.

As Zero walks down, he glances at the walls, decorated with chalk drawings and streamers.

'That's ominous...' Zero thinks to himself, pulling out his Buster, ready to attack. The group reaches the bottom of the stairs and finds a set of double-doors, which they open to continue on.

They walk into the pitch-dark room, the only light coming from Zero's forehead gem.

"Wh- Why is it so dark?" Toko asks. "I told you I'm afraid of the dark!"

"No you didn't." Zero responds.

"Relax, I'm telling you, it's not that dark." Komaru says.

"I can barely even see your faces, it's that dark." Zero sighs.

"You are not making things better."

"I know."

Just then, the lights slam on, blinding the group.

"Too bright!" Komaru says.

Zero recovers first, looking around to see stands full of Monokuma Kids in a colosseum-esque building.

The chain gates slam shut behind them, locking them in.

"Hey! Hey hey! You totally fell for it!" A young male voice calls out. "You really thought you could escape, didn't ya? Ha ha! But too bad! I totally saw that one coming!"

A second after the boy finishes his speech, he shows himself, white headphones, blue eyes, and orange hair.

"I'm the super-duper leader of the Warriors of Hope! The Lil' Ultimate P.E! Masaru Daimon!" He says as the Monokuma Kids in the stands cheer louder.

The group stares down Masaru, as he smirks at them from the ledge he appeared on. "Hey! I won't let you escape, Demons!" He calls out to them.

"Wh- What the hell? What's with this dorky little brat?" Toko asks.
