Dire Fates Beautiful Deaths

The sun beamed through the clouds at dusk

The dew fell from the sky, it felt like the heavens cried

Akin to a tranquil gloaming through the moor

Youth makes you naive and a blissful fool

Young grace makes you think of peace

While the world burn behind you to it's cease

Dire fates await, dark farewells of wanderlust

Those that never let us rest

We fought together, together we sored

Attached to the destiny of war, death and grief

But our souls tied like a never ending bond

Forged the path of roses, ash and thorn

"I loved him then! I love him still!"

The cries cannot be heard from behind

And the hill that now separates us has made me blind

Beautiful death awaits us now

Screams that can shatter anyone's mind

I lost you and I lost my heart

Cold as frostbite drops felt your hands

You can now rest and I was left behind

To a world of flames and demise

And as my breath slows down I welcome death

"Hello once again olden friend"

Just a path of death and ash is left

The blaze extends through the field and I watch from the core

Sun burns my skin, light clouds dim my sight

You are now gone and I hope to see you in death someday again

Story/POV: (This is funny because I actually wrote it for a school class) The embodiment of trauma after war, lost lovers over brawl of war define my life now. I can't express what it felt to almost lose your life and then lose your world. But I was young and naive, god I hate me! Grief and wrath spreads like blazes of blood around my soul. Death must feel so freeing now that I lost it all.
