Scars are like stories, told from a far forgotten pain

Just like crows sing along the gray dew of morning

They bring war and death, a path of thorn and blood

Slaughter of thousands drives them mad

But mad for love, mad for drad

How could someone began to explain

The hurtful thought of loss and pain

I fell for you but to the abyss I fell

Left behind like a worthless shell

But rejoice my love in the skies of light

I am now in hell with the devil by my side

They are all burning but my heart burns for you

I can now see that this was just a game

The game of war, death and love.

Story/POV: (This was a short poem recited from the perspective of one of my characters, Aurun, read my other posts if ur interested or not, idc) The story follows Aurun Blaine, the prince of a wealthy kingdom. Long story short, he falls in love with Lin Godfrey, the prince of another kingdom but something happens and they have to end up fighting a war on opposite sides. Aurun slowly becomes mad and loses his sanity but still follows some crazy dream of obtaining Lin's love.
