Short, filler chapter ahead.

The next month was one of the happiest months of (Name)'s life.
Gary had moved in with her in her house in Hearthrome.
May and Drew were engaged, but Misty and Ash were still boyfriend-girlfriend. Dawn and Paul, again, were nowhere to be seen, which worried everyone, but they would respond to their texts and calls so they weren't too concerned. Still, they couldn't help but feel suspicious...
Gary hadn't proposed like Drew did, but (Name) didn't care- despite the fact that they had known each other for so long, they had only been dating for a month- and a day, if you counted that day five years ago.
Nevertheless, all was going well, all was happy- and (Name) didn't want it any other way.
This particular night the group of three couples were meeting up at the same restaurant where (Name) and Gary made up.
Dawn and Paul had once again called in busy so it as just the six of them again.
(Name) knew Ash was proposing; he couldn't keep it a secret from everyone besides Misty. Oblivious as (Name) was, she didn't notice that a certain someone was maybe or maybe not... planning something.
After the main meal the dessert came. (Name) knew that Ash had hidden the ring in Misty's cake. She smirked slightly. She'll be in for a surprise.
Misty took a bite of her cake. Her eyes widened as she fished a gold ring from within the cream.
"What in the- this must be a lot of money! I better go find who this belongs to-"
"It belongs to you," Ash said with a cheeky smile. Misty cocked her head.
"Eh? Ash, I don't own a ring like this."
"But you will if you say yes to this question." A confused expression remained on Misty's face.
"What?"
"Marry me, Mist?" The entire restaurant went silent as Misty's mouth dropped open. Silent anticipation was everywhere.
"Ash, you big dummy..." she started slowly. "Did you even need to ask? Yes..." Applause was heard as Ash grinned widely, scooping his lover in his arms. May was fangirling loudly as Drew rolled his eyes and called her an Airhead.
(Name) was happy for the couple, so happy that she was completely speechless. Her mouth was wide open and her beautiful (e/c) orbs were bright with excitements.
"You'll catch flies that way, you idiot," she heard her boyfriend chuckle as his hand went beneath her chin, closing her mouth. (Name) pouted without realizing it.
"You're not funny," she sighed.
"Maybe not. But your face is." (Name)'s eyes widened as she scowled at her boyfriend's obnoxious humor, who was laughing loudly- not too out of place in the noisy restaurant.

"(Name)?" Gary questioned softly as he crawled underneath the blankets, hugging the (h/c)-haired girl to his chest.
"What do you want?" she mumbled. "I'm tired, so make it quick."
"I can't believe Ashy-Boy beat me to this one," Gary chuckled.
"Huh? What do you mean?" (Name) questioned, her heartbeat speeding up dramatically. Gary noticed this and fought a smirk.
"Will you marry me?" (Name) gasped almost inaudibly.
"You know, funny thing, just earlier tonight, I thought you weren't going to propose until later, as we've only been dating for a month... and a day."
"I'm not saying we should get married right away," he replied. "I meant I want you to be my fiancée. Then when we're ready we can get married."
"You're not kidding, are you?" (Name) quipped shyly.
"I've never been more serious in my life," Gary replied solemnly.
(Name) tilted her head up to look into his eyes. A sincere smile was painted on his lips. A hopeful one; he was obviously desperately wishing for her to say yes.
"Then in that case- yes. I'll marry you..." Gary breathed a sigh of relief. "Hey... isn't there going to be a ring or something?" The brunet's face grew into a smirk.
"Why, you're rather demanding, aren't you?" he mused. "Look down."
"Oh Arceus." (Name) couldn't hold in her excited smile as her eyes lit up just like they had when Ash had proposed to Misty.
"Satisfied?" Gary questioned with an amused tone.
"You're wonderful."
"Oh, so now I'm wonderful, after I bought you a pretty diamond ring," Gary said sarcastically. (Name) gave him a dirty look.
"Shut up."
He did.
This, this was what the perfect happily ever after (Name) dreamed of was. It was all perfect, it was all just so perfect...
Maybe a little too perfect...
Too perfect to last long.

"YOU DIDN'T DO YOUR PART OF THE DEAL!" Ana roared. "YOU DIDN'T KEEP THEM FOREVER APART! IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR LAKE BEING TAINTED, YOU BETTER DO AS I SAY! RIGHT NOW!"

"Oh no," Giratina breathed. "Yveltal, Arceus is calling us. There's trouble again."
"What is it this time?" The other Pokemon questioned tiredly.
"The other Pokemon. Not you. The other. He's back." Yveltal had never been more terrified in his life.

"Get out of here, Jamie!" Shaymin yelled. "I can take him!"
"No you can't! I'm not leaving without you!"
"THEN I GUESS THERE ARE TWO OF YOU TO KILL!"
