Like a Book (Aizawa's kid)

Basic Hero Training

      Yesterday was when we did the test, Midoriya has been happy since. I got introduced to the brunette and the blue-headed boy. The brunette is Uraraka, and the boy is Iida. I knew I recognized the boy from somewhere, but I can't quite place him. 

        In the morning, we have normal classes, which are boring. And Pops is the English teacher, I feel bad for him. No one ever responds to his prompts. In the afternoon is where the real fun begins though, that's when we have basic heroics. We all take our seats, and wait for the teacher, Midoriya is smiling like a fool. "I HAVE ... COME THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE NORMAL!" It is All Might, the number one hero. "Not quite bud." I say, All Might looks around for me. Everyone is so excited, I give a small wave. He seems to recognize me and wave back, he babysat me when my Dads couldn't find anyone else to babysit. 

        "I'LL PUT YOU THROUGH ALL KINDS OF SPECIAL TRAINING." All Might roars, he's almost as loud as Pops sometimes. "No time to dally, today's training is this!" He holds up a card that says 'battle' "BATTLE TRAINING!" He booms again, but I'm just excited to try on my costume. As soon as we are allowed to go change, I race off, securing a stall for myself. "Perfect." I say to myself as I finish. My costume is a white bodysuit with a black crop-top hoodie, the hoodie has a sort of blue cloud design on it. There are a pair of big, black boots. They look like combat boots but are much lighter. I also have special goggles, like Hawk's, except mine are blue. There is a special belt with a loop on it. And the last thing is a small, metal bar. It has a knob and four buttons, a yellow one, a blue one, a green, and a red. I slip it on my belt and exit.

        "SHALL WE BEGIN MY WARDS?" All Might asks once everyone is together. Iida points out that we are using the same grounds used for the entrance exams, and it leads to a long conversation. He talks about the importance of indoor v.s. outdoor training. Then we are assigned groups, "EJIRO KIRISHIMA, HANTA SERO AND HIKAGE AIZAWA" All Might announces my group last, I sigh, a spiky red-headed boy steps up, and a ravenette boy is not far behind. After a moment, I reluctantly join them, all eyes seem to be on me. "Are you Aizawa- Sensei's kid?" A pink girl asks, I nod. Everyone  gets whipped up into a frenzy, I sigh. "Great, Psycho is gonna get special treatment." Bakugo says, I roll my eyes. "Wow, to think I've known the daughter of a pro hero since middle school" Midoriya trails off into his own thoughts, soon everyone is talking over each other. "HEY SHUT UP!" I yell, everyone does. "Thank you. Now, yes, I am Shota Aizawa's adopted daughter. If you treat me differently or specially because of it, please know I will not return the favor." And with that I step away. 

        All Might draws the first opposing teams, it's Midoriya and Uraraka against Bakugo and Iida. This can't be good, Bakugo will be impulsive as hell. The fight is interesting, though we can't hear anything. As the fight progresses, it seems Midoriya has been beat, but then BOOM, SMASH. "HEROES WIN!" All Might proudly announces, I look at the screen to see Midoriya incapacitated. I subtly walk up to All Might. " That should have been called off sooner." I say through my quirk, he turns to me. "I know." He says conflicted, I stare into his eyes. "If you really care for him, think of his safety." I say, All Might tenses a bit. "Look," I say with a sigh, "I was friends with Midoriya in middle school, I am well aware that this quirk is new to him. His body is clearly not adjusted to it yet, or at least I assume that's what my father spoke to him about." My expression hardens, "You can't let him push his limits. Just like you shouldn't push yours." I hold up three fingers, after our talk, a few more groups go, I take the time to find Kirishima and Sero.

        "Hey." I say, Kirishima jumps a little and turns to face me. "Sorry, I startled you." I say, he nods. "It's okay, bro. No hard feelings." He says, I smile and offer a handshake. "So you're Aizawa-san?" He asks, I rub my neck in embarrassment. "You can just call me Hikage." I say, he shakes my hand. "I'm Ejiro Kirishima, you can call me either, really." He says, I shoot a small smile. "I'm Hanta Sero." The other boy says, we shake hands as well. "So, what's your quirk?" At this question, I get a bit nervous, people usually get weirded out by my quirk.

        "It's called psychic. It gives me the ability to use telekinesis, telepathy, and read minds. I can also use my quirk to make people more... cooperative, although I typically don't, it tends to make people uncomfortable. Oh, and I can see memories. I do have a limit. Right now, I can use my quirk for thirty consecutive minutes without getting a nose bleed, and just shy of a consecutive hour without passing out." I say, I wait for a reaction, then Kirishima smiles. "That's so manly! What am I thinking right now?" I read his mind, "You think I'm manly..." I say, not quite understanding what he means by that. He laughs and then I do Sero upon request. I'm relieved at their reactions.

        "What about you guys?" I ask, Sero flexes his unusually shaped elbows with confidence. "I dispense tape from my elbows and can detach it to make traps." He says proudly, I nod then turn to Kirishima. "My quirk is hardening, I can harden myself. It's not too flashy..." He says, I look into his mind. "I wish my quirk were better and flashier." He thinks, I give a big smile. "I think you have an amazing quirk. It's a strong shield, but is also a harsh attack weapon." He gives a sincerely shy smile.

        Next thing we know, it's our turn to get our roles. "GROUP J ARE THE VILLAINS AND GROUP H ARE THE HEROES." He announces, I sigh, my teammates are pumped. Once we are in the building, I begin sharing my plan. "So here's what I think, Sero I want you to make a tape trap around the bomb. Kirishima, I want you to stand guard. I'll lead them here and you two make sure they don't escape. Alright?" I say, they nod and we get started. I go into the hallway.

        I see Asui and Tokoyami come around the corner, I 'hide'. I see Tokoyami's shadow thingy seemingly say something to him. He glances at me and taps Asui on the shoulder, as soon as I'm sure they both have seen me, I give an 'oh shit' look and run.  We're about half-way there when I look behind me, they're both still following me, and they are. I finally get them in the room, I guard the exit. Tokoyami goes for me, I pull out my rod, adjust the nob, and hit the yellow button. A shock is sent through his body. He tenses, and drops to the ground.  "HIKAGE!" Kirishima yells, he'd just captured Asui. "Chill, he's only stunned." I say, showing him the setting, we then tie up Tokoyami and Asui. "VILLAINS WIN!!!" All Might exclaims, I walk to Tokoyami. "I apologize for stunning you." I say, he nods, "It's okay, I'm actually impressed by your ability to come up with solutions on your toes." He says, I thank him, and we walk away, I help Tokoyami walk back to the building.
