Your POV

"What is it?" I asked Fern. She looked concerned. Meaning the plan was starting to work.

"My mom was a part of that clan." She said. Perfect.

"They're not good people. They do terrible things and you're lucky you didn't have to deal with anything." She said to me.

"Can you tell me what you know about their abilities?" I asked.  "Can we really speak to titans."

"Well, the can communicate with Titans. Many people thought it was a rumor but it's true. It's how I escaped the Survey Corps. I asked a titan to bring me back and it did. I guess with this power its easy for us to communicate with the titan shifters in more ways than one." She explained.

"Hmm." I said. " What are Eren's plans?"

"I-" she was cut off by sounds of explosions.

"Fuck!" I yelled. "He's out!"

I ran away from Fern to try my best to find Mikasa but I ran into 2 kids and an older boy. It was the 2 kids from the ship. The ones that killed... Nevermind that.

"Are you guys ok?!' I asked them. They nodded.

"Okay. Get back behind that wall and stay with me, ok?" I explained to them. They nodded.

As I ran with the kids, we made it to a building and hid in there for a while.

"Are you guys ok?" I asked the older boy.

"Huh? Oh, yeah." He answered.

"Okay, good."

The kids were talking. I wasn't listening to what they were saying but from what I heard the boy confessed to the girl.

Cute.

Flashback

"Damn, Eren." I said playfully. "You really do suck with the ODM gear."

"Wow, thanks for that." Eren said trying to prop himself back up.

"You're welcome. Unnecessary comments are my specialty!"

"Of course they are." He said. "Can you you help me?"

I laughed and walked over to the brown haired boy. It was still our cadet days and he was trying his best to balance properly on the ODM gear.

"How about we take a break?" I said to him. "You most definitely have several concussions."

"Yeah, you're right." He said.

We sat down on the stairs of the mess hall.

"So, I have a question." Said Eren.

"What is it?" I asked.

"If Titans didn't exist, what would you want to do with your life?"

"I don't know." I said. "I would love to live in a nice house near a large body of water that's right next to my dad's tea ship that he would want to open. I would probably be a painter too."

"Hmm. I would go to the ocean every day with Mikasa and Armin. It's what we've been planning since we were little." He said as he looked over to me. "But there's one more thing too."

"What?"

"I would also like to move into a nice house in a forest with this girl i like. We would live together there maybe raise some kids and grow old together."

"Aww." I said. "Who's the girl you like? Is it Mikasa."

"Nah, she's like my sister."

"Then it's Krista!"

"Nope."

"Then who?!"

"None of your business." He flicked my forehead.

"Ow, jerk."

Eren started to laugh. I couldn't help but laugh with him. We continued to laugh together.

Sometimes I wished things had never changed.
