Flashback

The leech threw the shifter into the woods, doing what his mate told him to do, "was she hungry or was she just craving some fun?", the leech thought to himself before punching the shifter laying on the wood, "dogs, weak", he spit on him, laughing like a maniac, "I will show you what is weak", Paul swiped the spit from his face, the bones cracked, forming a new structure, fur grew from the skin before he could bite the leech into pieces, he was gone, his scent gone, but the other one remains, faint sweet smell with rust, blood, "Sam, vampires hurry, Sebastian", he told Sam and Jared over the pack link and ran after he last saw Sebastian.

The red hair lady met the wolf's eyes, smirking at him, Paul's eyes fall on how close her fangs were to Sebastian's neck, but instead of biting into him, she threw like a rag doll and smiled at him, "dogs", she muttered under her breath and ran off too.

Sam easily caught Sebastian, but this was a major breach, the leeches have always stayed away from their land but now, this is not good, not at all, Paul thought to himself before chasing after the red hair leech, her scent disappeared too, only a trail of rust cold smell left in her place.

Swan residence

Sebastian was having an internal fight, he wanted to sleep, but the way he was pacing near his window, indicated something else, the realization was hitting him now, he could have been dead, all alone in the forest, by some crazy psycho vampire.

Something jumped through his window, and in a quick moment, Jasper grabbed his collar and pulled him onto the bed with him, he was under the human, hands wrapping around him, breathing in his scent, listening to the fastened heartbeat but he caused it by this sudden surprise, "J", Seb tried to speak but Jasper shushed him by keeping his finger over his lips.

He moved his head over Sebastian's chest, ear placed directly over where his heart is, listening to the heartbeat, "he's alive, he's fine", he repeated to himself, before he gently pulled himself back and gently placed a kiss on the spot where Sebastian's heart resides under the flesh.

"I'm never leaving you again", Jasper tells him, sincerely, it may be the first time when he was so serious, he was the same when he uttered those words in French, Sebastian thought to himself, wrapping his arms around Jasper, snuggling closer to him.

"That would be nice", Sebastian tells him softly, before he feels Jasper kissing his head, "but it's not possible", Sebastian continues, "you, my darling, are a vampire, me, I'm just a human", he tells him, meeting the golden eyes, they were more golden than last time, at least he fed nicely, "what's that supposed to mean?", Jasper asks him, there was a strange silence before Sebastian answered him.

"I will die one day, like everyone else, but you", Sebastian's put his hand on Jasper's cheek, feeling the cold skin move under his touch, like it's trying to merge with him, "you are immortal, my love, you will never leave me, I know but", he stops, taking a breath to calm himself, it would have easy to confess that he like Jasper more than initial liking than what he is doing right now, "I will leave you one day, and I worry, what will you do to yourself?", he pulls himself closer to Jasper, listening to the sound of the nonexistent heart beating in the cold chest.

Jasper was surprised, he was hoping it would be more of, how you fight vampires or how he was here, but he knew that Sebastian was smart enough that he may have connected Alice's vision or the number of calls they all left on Sebastian's phone, "what will I do to me?", he mutters the question, arms wrapping more tightly around Sebastian, "isn't it simple?", he tells him, Sebastian looks over him, the blue reading the feelings in the gold, so much love filled in those gold orbs, Jasper flashes his smile to him, before kissing him softly, cold fingers messing with the raven locks.
