The camera then shows us at a shuttle landing port. A long, streamline yet thin rocket with elevated legs extended from two sides each of the cargo ships awaits transportation. A relay traffic control station is situated in the distance on the cold planet of Chy Lunar. The craft prepares to take up from the port. A carrier in the centre of the craft allows the ship to hold shipment stock such as the previously mentioned oil or riches in gigantic cylinder canisters housed inside the ship. The jet motors to blast the craft forward are at the back of the ship. The power for the craft to blast upwards is located from a chute at the bottom of the ship. KABOOM! Smoke explodes from underneath the craft, and it slowly rises upwards. The mighty ship then gently blasts its back motors and it accelerates forward. This cargo ship, containing Vanessa with other prisoners and convicts on board, sets the destination to Blea Carrock 5.

We view out at the vast, eerie emptiness of space. An unsettling vibration is met with the arrival of the spaceship[. We see various impressive shots of the cargo vessel before we eventually show inside. A large area is inside for the prisoners to mingle and socialise in a huge grey cell area. Food is being prepared by dinner ladies behind an impenetrable shield between them and the prisoners in a separate corner. The guards are outside, ensuring no prisoner escapes. They leave the hostages so if there is an incident with one of them, like on Chy Lunar, they are left to fend for themselves. Red collars around their neck keep them in order and under control. Electricity will stun them if they become hostile. It is here where we are introduced to our main characters, most of them are slums and bums.

Vanessa is in a large body of criminals in thick grey uniforms. We have Josh Smith, a nasty, brutish, and short little man. Vulgar, overweight, and rude, yet incredibly stupid. He is injured; on crutches and a boot on his right leg after an accident. The arsonist Etienne is in the group with them. A rugged, criminal who regularly gets into fights is Elliot Ayres. He too, although funny, can become highly aggressive. Another small and fat cowardly man, Alastair Wilkins, although not somehow who physically bullies others, he too is rebellious and dangerous. Yet another plump man, James Robinson, is just as idiotic and unpleasant.

A poor victim, Indigo Anderson, with half of her right thumb missing is always picked on. She is incredibly small, ad always looking in a state or a mess. In the hall with a dozen other convicts, Vanessa regrets every moment of her presence being there. She quietly walks along, minding out from the other vicious, aggressive and unfriendly criminals. As she passes, some of them stare angrily at her. Etienne gets in her way.

Etienne:

I know you from somewhere. Now, where have I seen your face somewhere before?

Vanessa:

Leave me alone, please.

Etienne:

Weren't you one of the cleaners back on the old place?

Vanessa:

No.

She walks away from him.

Etienne:

Hey. Don't walk away from me, sweetheart. I wanna chat to you. Get to know you.

She sees Josh with his group of friends laughing in a group.

Josh:

Seems as though they're all down to this, with us? Aren't you?

Elliot violently gushes past her and rushes to Josh. The injured man panics as he knows what is about to happen next.

Elliot:

Does it hurt, Josh?

He then kicks his bad leg, and Josh falls to the ground, screaming in agonising pain. His leg had broken again, and everyone looks down at him and laughs, except Vanessa.
