I tried to make this chapter a little longer than usual to make up for the lack of posting recently :)

"We're here y/n!" Paimon zoomed around in excitement, the boat having just arrived at the docks. "yes I can see that Paimon" you smiled cheekily at her letting her know you were only teasing her. You had decided to take Aether on a week 4 day long trip to Inazuma as he had been working so hard to fulfil peoples requests that he had run himself ragged and you knew he deserved a holiday. You hated how people used him for such basic requests when they were perfectly capable of handling it themselves. But Paimon knew you were just partly using this as an excuse to have Aether to yourself for a couple of days without any interruptions.

Aether jumped down from the side of the boat and offered you his hand to help you down which you gladly took whilst Paimon just floated down. You released his hand as soon as you were safely on the wooden jetty and the three of you started to make your way into the centre of Ritou and where you would both be staying for the next few days.

You had just started to admire the scenery when you felt yourself bump into someone causing you to drop your satchel. You vaguely heard the sound of your ink bottle smashing inside. 

You winced.

"Oh god I'm so sorry I didn't see you there!" a worried voice apologised. 

Medium length blond hair tied into a simple ponytail and dimples was what greeted you as you looked up at the person you had bumped into.

"No.. I'm the one who wasn't looking where they were going, I'm very sorry" you hastily replied.

The tall male seemed to realise that you looked uncomfortable and after a short enquiry you reluctantly told him that your ink bottle had broken in your bag.

"Let me buy you a new one in return then" The male who had introduced himself as Thoma seconds before was quick to offer compensation. Why not you decided, you had needed a new one anyway.

"Aether is it alright if I meet you back at the rooms we're staying at? I promise this won't take long."

Aether meanwhile had been stood there the whole time watching your exchange with a growing sense of dislike to this mysterious good-looking stranger who had already succeeded in making you smile.

"Sure" he ground out and Paimon shot him a worried glance.

You and Thoma made your way further into Ritou and only after buying you a new bottle of ink did he finally strike up the courage to ask what had been on his mind for a while.

"Do you mind if I ask you for some advice? I wouldn't normally burden a stranger with this but I can't think of anyone else who might be able to relate to my situation."

"errr.. sure I guess?" You were curious to what he had to say despite his manner of asking being a little strange.

Thoma took a deep breath before telling you his long time crush on his friend and employer, Kamisato Ayato and how he needed help getting the courage to ask him on a date.

"oh right! yeah I can definitely help you with-" you stopped.

"Hang on did you say a situation I could relate to?"

"Oh my apologies, it seemed pretty obvious about your crush on the boy you were with"

Oh jeez. Were you that obvious? No matter, this could seem like it could work out in both of your favours.
