If I'm being honest, I wasn't in the mood to seeing everyone for our little Christmas party.

I love all my friends, don't get me wrong. I just wasn't feeling very festive.

I don't know if it's because my depression is acting up or because Cassie isn't here.

It's just weird having everyone here and her being wherever she is.

"Colby, everyone's here." Sam told me while sticking his head in the room. I look over at him and nod my head.

"I'll be down there in a minute." He gives me a smile and walks away. I look back into the mirror.

It wasn't the most festive but I liked it. Black skinny jeans, red and black striped long sleeved shirt, and my jean jacket.

I take a deep breath and go downstairs. I could hear everyone's laughter and talking when I got closer.

Everyone seemed happy whenever I came in. Tyler had already made himself a cup of Whiskey.

"So, everyone's here now." My heart twitched when Sam said that. Only because we're missing one person.

I don't say anything. I just grab a red solo cup so I can start drinking with everyone.

I don't think Avery and Addison are drinking since they have to drive back.

I sit down next to Tyler so I can grab the Whiskey bottle. I pour myself a cup as Sam started handing out the presents.

We chose to do Secret Santa cause we thought it would be more fun. We drew names out of a hat and went shopping.

I had Tyler so I think I got him something good. Here recently, he's really gotten into Fantasy Football and sports.

For months he won't stop talking about the Seattle Seahawks. He was always into football, it's just gotten bigger.

I got him two tickets for the next playoff game with a Jersey. Once Sam handed everyone their presents, he looked around.

"Who wants to open theirs first?" He asked while sitting next to Kat. Avery offered so she started opening her bag up.

She gasped as she opened it up. It looked like a makeup kit. "I've heard you've been wanting it." Addison spoke up.

Avery thanked her for her gift as I took a swig of the Whiskey. I could feel it starting to warm my body up.

Sam opened his gift and then Kat opened hers. Tyler said he would go next so he sat his drink down.

I started smiling to myself as he opened it. "No fucking way." He gasped as he looked at it.

"What is it?" Addison asked trying to look. "It's tickets to the next playoff game and a jersey." He brought it up.

There was a big ass smile on his face. "I figured you wouldn't want to go alone so I got you two." I speak up.

He looks at me surprised. He then looked at Avery. She instantly started shaking her head.

"I love you but you can take someone else." I figured she would say no.

He said how he would think about it and he made sure to thank me.

Sam ended getting me a couple new chains and a couple new rings.

I think everyone seemed to enjoy their gifts. When we got done, we all made conversation.

"I wanna thank you again for getting me these tickets." Tyler slurred towards me.

I could tell he really meant it behind his drunken state. "Of course, brother." I've always liked Tyler.
