About: Power Rangers In Space or PRIS (1998) is the sixth official season of Power Rangers, being the American counterpart of the 21st Super Sentai series, called 'Denji Sentai Megaranger'. The show aired in February 1998 on the TV channel Fox Kids. Power Rangers In Space was the last season of the Zordon Era, which means from that season on, Zordon would no longer help and be the Ranger's mentor. This season marked a new era within the show, as from that season on, there wouldn't be the same rangers in every season, the characters would change with every new season. Another interesting thing about Power Rangers In Space is that this season is the first and one of the only seasons in which the rangers have no mentors. Power Rangers In Space was followed by Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, which continues with the season's "outer space" theme.
