About: Time Force Power Rangers is the ninth official season of Power Rangers, being the American counterpart to the 24th Japanese Super Sentai series 'Mirai Sentai Timeranger'. The show aired in February 2001 on the TV channel Fox Kids. Time Force Power Rangers, just like its predecessor (Lightspeed Rescue), has a more mature look and less relatable tropes for the kids, some may say this season even has a more "dark vibe" to it since it features sensitive topics like the loss of loved ones and this time the main villain (Ransik) has a darker back story than most villains of the franchise, his story makes reference to racism, which was something only a few adults who watched it noticed. This season was really well made in terms of scripting,  it was the first and only Power Rangers season to be nominated for the 29th Daytime Emmy Awards, and to this day is the favorite of many fans, so much so that the characters were brought back to many other seasons that came after, for an example Jen Scotts coming back later on to be the mentor of the Hyper Force Power Rangers. The season was the last one to be developed solely by Saban Entertainment and Toei Company, being the last season of what the fans call 'The Saban Era', it also was the last season to air on the TV channel Fox Kids.
