<3rd Person>
Yuri called Victor because he missed a call and put him on speaker.
"Hey, Yurio!" Victor said joyfully.
Yuri sighed a tiny bit, "hey. You're on speaker."
"Alrighty! Well, Yuuri and I will be out for a few more hours. We went to see the ice skating rink in the other town and they recognized us," Victor informed.
"They did? That's cool!" Yuri smiled.
"Man I almost forgot how awesome I was," Victor sighed
"Well head back soon. We went on a walk," Yuri said.
Victor nodded, even if you couldn't see it through call, they knew.
"Bye Victor," Otabek added and Yuri hung up.The two sighed with a soft smile. After a minute Otabek saw something farther in the field.
"Is that a building?" Otabek asked.
Yuri looked surprised, "where?"
Otabek pointed, "there, the wide building thing."
"Oh- I've never seen it," Yuri mumbled. "Come on. Let's check it out."The two jumped up and ran over to the big, brown structure.
They got there, both somewhat out of breath, and Otabek opened the wood doors. Yuri turned on his phone flashlight. Yuri found a light switch and he turned it on. The building lit up, it somehow still had electricity even though it was forgotten about.
"Wow, is this an ice skating rink?" Otabek asked.
Yuri smiled, "I THINK IT IS!"
"I competed in ice-skating competitions when I was younger; I always got 2nd," Otabek informed.
"What else did you do?" Yuri asked.
Otabek smiled, "I fence."
Yuri's eyes glow, "THAT'S SO COOL!"Otabek looked around, he found out that the ice skates are still behind a dusty counter.
"Woah, they still have skates," Otabek smiled.
Yuri smiled looking in a different area, "I FOUND THE RINK! LOOKS LIKE WE COULD USE IT!"Otabek smiled at Yurio's excitement. He walked over and saw how this all still works. Yuri ran to Otabek and threw his arms around the slightly taller one.
"We should skate! I haven't got on the ice for a year!" Yuri yelled happily, his eyes shining like a Christmas tree.
The two ran back to the skates and grabbed their shoe size.
It's a miracle this is still up, they both thought.
They walked over to a bench by the ice and as soon as they put it on they went to the ice. Yuri was in pure bliss, ice skating with Otabek felt nostalgic for some reason. Little did he know the other felt the same way. The two danced on the ice.
"Beka watch this!" Yuri called before trying to do a jump.
A toe loop jumps to be specific.
Disappointingly, he fell and landed right on his butt. Otabek rushed over to where Yuri fell to help him up. They both laughed as Yuri stood up again only to bring them both down. Yuri fell right next to Otabek.
When the two finally got up a couple of minutes later, they goofed around some more on the ice. After about 30 minutes passed they decided to head back, even if neither of them wanted to leave.
"We need to do this again," Yuri smiled.
Otabek nodded as he pulled off his ice skates. They walked to the place they found the skates, set them back in the correct area then left.They loved this. If Yuri knew about this sooner he would have been out a lot more.
<Yuri>
When Yuri was a kid many things happened. Yuri's family always we're friends with Victor's so they grew up close. Victor was really into ice skating and he ended up teaching Yuri almost everything. Yuri went to every competition Victor was in.
Yuri's life for ice skating never left because it was the only thing he felt could let him get out his emotions.
Soon Yuri's parents made him compete too; he didn't complain. It was fun, winning at something. Feeling like you're good at what you do fills him up with blind joy. Every cent he got from ice skating went to a secret bank account and he never spent any of it.
His parents found out Victor was dating a man, who also happens to be an ice skater, and they started to hate Victor. Yuuri was a "no good piggy" in his parent's words. Victor was hurt greatly by the words of Yuri's parents and so he stopped talking to them until they just gave him Yuri. Yuri never spoke a word to his parents since and he doesn't know what happened to the money.
<Otabek>
Otabek grew a love for ice skating when he saw a live competition. There was a grey-haired woman on the ice but she was young, that was all Otabek remembered of her. She got him into skating. The way she danced on the ice made Otabek want to.
When Otabek learned how to skate he started competing but he always got second place. He only lost to a young boy who appeared to have more empty eyes each time. They started by simmering like stars in the sky to looking like a soldier's.
<back to present day>
<3rd>Yuri and Otabek find their way to Victor's house and Victor and Yuuri we're also heading inside.
Victor smiled and Yuuri waved. The two boys followed the lead of the others. They walked inside and they took off their shoes.
"Do you guys want hot chocolate?" Yuuri asked.
Victor smiled and yelled, "HELL YEAH I DO!"
Something about hot chocolate always gets Victor feeling absurdly happy. It also happens with Yuuri.
The other two just nodded.As Yuuri made hot chocolate and the rest watched; Yuri was itching to help out. Yet instead, the four talked about their day. Yuri started rambling about the rink.
When the cocoa came out they drank it still talking about the day.
