Murakumo x Alice: Ribbitees attack

It was the middle of the day and Alice decided to head to the inn to see if  she could be any help. She was currently heavily  pregnant with her and Kumo's first child. Naturally she was on maternity leave from her duties with SEED, but it left her with a lot of free time she didn't exactly know how to fill. 

After entering the building she saw her husband mopping the floor and appearing lost in thought. 

Alice walked over to Murakumo

"Kumo?" She said.

His ears twitched and he turned to Alice.

"Honey?! What are you doing here?!" He asked looking shocked and dropping his mop.

"I thought I'd stop by to visit you. See if you need any help! Is everything okay?"She asked tilting her head to the side.

"Y-yeah... Are you sure you should be moving around so much darling?" He asked his ears drooped a bit and concern lacing his voice 

"Don't worry I'm fine! Simone said little exercise is good for the baby!" She replied.

"I guess your right. Sorry If I'm being overbearing! I guess I'm just a little on edge with the baby almost here! Especially knowing you could go into labor soon" He said and bent down to grab the mop.

"Its okay, it's only natural with the baby on the way. Everything will be just fine " She said.

"Mmm, I know. Anyway how are you feelin'?" Kumo asked then placed his hand on her very prominent bump.

Alice smiled and put her hand over his.

"Just fine and so is our baby", Alice said.

"That's a relie-" Kumo said but was interrupted by a small kick by his hand from inside his wife.

"WOW?! Little pup must be awake! Gahahaha", He said laughing.

"Hahaha~! They've been doing that a lot today", Alice said smiling.

Murakumo's eyes went wide and appeared a little concerned.

"Really?! Does it hurt?!" He asked.

"Only a little" She replied.

His brows furrowed and a frown appeared on his face. He knelt down and planted a chaste kiss on her stomach. 

"C'mon kiddo you gotta be more gentle with your mama", He said to her bump.

"Hahaha~! Its alright really", She said.

Murakumo looked up at  her smiling. He stood back up off the floor, and then brushed his hand against her cheek. 

"Anyway, is there anything I could do to help you around here Kumo?" Alice asked placing her hand over his.

"Its alright, I can take care of everything myself. You're supposed to be on maternity leave ya know? You and the baby need rest", Kumo said.

"Please! I need to feel productive, It so boring just sitting around. There has to be something I can help you with that's easy and not to strenuous?" Alice said.

He stood there for a good minute thinking. With the birth drawing ever so near Murakumo had been more worried then ever of anything happening to his mate and pup, so much so that he has been fumbling during work and forgetting things. It wouldn't be a lie to say he could use some help today, but he wasn't sure how comfortable he was with  having Alice on her feet so much.

"I guess you can man the front desk... but you have to tell me if you're feeling the slightest bit unwell", He said.

"Okay!", Alice said.
