Chapter One

Tao's POV

I was sent on a fairly easy mission. To end a guy's life. He owns Kris some money and he wasn't going to pay anytime soon.

The target was currently at Bel-Air. It was a high class casino and hotel. It would be very easy to take him out.

I get out of the car to head into the casino. Suho already had made a reservation. Under a fake name so no one knew that I was going to be here.

"Do you have a reservation or do you need to make one?"

"I had one. Zhen Pan." He looks through the list of people.

"Oh. Mr. Zhen go on in."

Now where are you, Mr. MengXi?

Ah. There you are. From here it would be a little risky to kill him. If I get closer I would be recognized. The only way to ensure I hit my target is to cut the power.

I begin going over the plan in my head.

"Sorry." I hear a voice from behind me. "I didn't mean to walk into you." She bows politely.

"It's okay." I offer a small smile to her. Wow that dress really compliments her.

She smiles and heads to the table where MengXi is at. She bows to him and he stands and kisses her cheek. I couldn't help but feel a ping in my chest.

Forget it. Stick to the plan, Zitao.

I make my way to the back, where the power box is located. I make sure I am undetected. Then I pull the plug.

As soon as the lights go off, female screams can be heard. Let's do this.

I pull out a small pair of night vision goggles. I make my way to MengXi's table. He was looking around frantically.

"I should've played him sooner." He says. I smirk. Yeah you should've.

"Pay who sooner?" The girl from earlier asks.

"Don't worry about it, sweetie."

"Uncle what did you get yourself into?"

"Nothing."

I see the girl almost in tears. Ugh why does she have to be related to him?

"Y/N. Stay exactly where you are. Don't move."

"B-but"

"No buts. Sit right there."

It's now or never.

I pull out my Kyoketshu-Shogei knife.

I quickly end the poor man's life.

"Come on." I grab her hand after I put my knife away.

"What? Why?" Shit. What do I say?

"You might be killed." I feel her grab my hand tighter. I know she wouldn't be killed. I wouldn't let it happen but what else could I have said?

We were close to the exit so I took off the night vision and put them away.

I lead her to my car.

"Wait." I turn to look at her. "What is your name?"

"Zhen Pan."

"No. Your real name."

"How do you know that's not my real name?" She shrugs. "Fine. My name is Haung Zitao." I continue to my car. Pulling her along.

"Aren't you the assassin for EXO?"

"So you heard of me?" I smirk a the look on her face.

"So you killed him?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"I was ordered to."

"I know that. I'm not stupid." I see she pouts a little. "I meant why were you ordered to?"

"I don't think I can tell you that."

"Okay I guess I can understand that. Can you tell me why you are taking me and where?"

"To EXO's hangout and why? I don't know. I guess because you seem irresistible." I say and lean it close to her. She blushes at the distance between us. We reach my car and I opened the door for her.

She looks up at me shocked.

"Just because I'm an assassin doesn't mean I can't be a gentleman." She gets in and I walk around to the drivers side.

I begin to head to the hangout.
