He asks me. this takes me off by surprise. making me go quiet for some seconds. I looked up at his cold eyes. hm. do I know him? I squint my eyes and scrunched up my face trying to figure him out. I mean he could be lying, his fighting with a freaking 19-year-old high school girl who gets bullied for being smart.
" No. am I supposed to know every single person in this world? "
I snarled furiously.
" You snarl like an animal. "
The man said slightly smiling. wow, the nerve.
" Ha! "
I huffed. like I fucking don't know!
" Y/N!!! hey!!!! "
The fuck? before I could even turn around, someone grabbed me from behind. oh shit- my friend group. one of my clingy friends turned her attention to the man.
" Huh? hi~ wait. are you my friend's boyfriend? "
My eyes grew wider as if they had a mind of their own. damn it. I touched my forehead in stress.
" Um. haha. I'll leave that to your imagination. bye Y/N~ "
And just like that, he left. he fucking left. strangely enough those last words ' bye Y/N ' hit me. my heartbeat was running. fuck. what the fuck is wrong with me?
" Y/N!! are you okay?? your cheeks are so red!! "
The baby of the group Nayeon said, gently holding my cheeks. I quickly felt my face. oh shit. it was indeed burning. I smiled a fake ass smile.
" I M FINE!!! I M SO DAMN FINE "
My friend's faces turned into cheeky grins.
" Y/N you never told us you had a boyfriend~ "
" Guys don't have that face~ it's not what you think! his just some random guy whom I met a few seconds ago "
" But he seems to have some kind of interest in you~ that bye Y/N was kind of flirty you know? "
I rolled my eyes at these words. are they crazy? I just met that guy a few seconds ago.
" Or maybe you have a little interest~ "
Nayeon how could you betray me like this..? I felt myself go blank at her smart words. NOT THAT I HAVE ANY INTEREST IN HIM!!
" No no no no no it's not that. haha. no totally no. "
I slowly started to step backward. if I want to get out of this questioning alive I better run now.
