This is harder than I expected wow. But I kinda know where the hell I am headed so that's alright I guess...
Siren.
That was what the mentally ill patient called me.
He stated I was like those mythical creatures thriving in the seas and stealing numerous sailors' hearts.
The psychopath also confessed I was like a magnet forcing him away from the task, instead pulling him to me.
I wanted nothing of it.
How could I?
Some could allow this... preposterous disaster as something close to a gift yet I was not willing to let a stranger- a complete psychopath call me nicknames and touch my body.
Despite my harsh conditions, my thoughts drifted to my former best friend. Dal.
I should have taken Rang's words...
Never have I regretted doing something because I hadn't listened to another's advice, but here I am.
A sigh swiftly escaped my dry lips as I shook my head freeing it from the pain of regret. It was too late to fix my past mistakes. All I could do was plan for the future and pray for God's mercy.
A small teardrop landed on the soft velvet staining it with a salty taste." Have you been good, Siren? "
I mute the many emotions crashing at my surface as the uninvited voice entered the unlocked room. Huffing sourly, I struggled to find a good perch on the giant bed.
" Still haven't got used to the blindness 'ey? "
Listening to the approaching footsteps I wordlessly furrowed my eyebrows showing my displeasure with the topic. Blindness... I have always respected those who lost their senses for they lived a much harder world than the normals. Now I understood some of them. Losing a sense meant losing a valuable friend. The footsteps ended and I waited for a swooping sound to erupt from the unknown. Once I lived the life of a blind person I discovered a high sense of sounds, touch, and lastly smell. It had been the few things that have kept me going with hope in my hands.
The swooping noise was similar to an eagle diving for the kill I flew my torso back and he missed. An irritated hiss caused my lower lip to quiver lightly.
" Built some reflexes now have you? "
At the amused tone of voice I clasped my teeth tightly refusing to speak, ignoring the scary presence I crawled to a corner I memorized a few days ago. I could hear something chasing right behind me. Keeping my back to the corner I stared at the darkness awaiting any signs of movements or sounds. I felt my muscles become tense as my nerves sharpened.
Suddenly as if to scare me a hand caressed my cheek making me pull my entire body away in surprise. I guess my senses hadn't grown to their full strength. Defensively I threatened the psychopath despite fear about to jump out of my throat.
" Leave me alone. "
I attempted to make my voice as jangled as possible and match the desire to survive however, fear controlled my tone leading me to sound like a small child arguing with its parents. I could tell he was rolling his eyes without even looking at the male.
" Come on princess... You can warm up to me. "
" I am not cold. "
" I am. "
After the raspy voice finished its speech, the other caught my hands tightly. Warmth loaded in my hands soon reaching my body. A tug was enough for me to fall face-first into the male's chest, his hands wrapped around my shoulders. Anger flooded within me as those arms felt like chains strapping me close.
" I said leave me alone. "
I growled a little muffled by the other's chest. Being greeted by ignorance I hopelessly flailed my arms to find the psycho's body and push him to free my head. It would not work physically for he was one of the furthest things from a human but I'd rather be defensive than be submissive. An icy deep chuckle escaped the male's lips as he cradled me in his arms. A feeling I hated.
A feeling I only wished to feel by Rang.
" You might as well give up. Y/N. "
My eyes widened at my name. For a few days... Or maybe it has already been a week? I don't know. Whatever time has passed by, I can confirm I hadn't heard my name from anyone for a while now. That was... Painful.
" No one will suspect me as your captor nor would anyone know where to look for you. Not even that damn snake. Heh... Even if he didn't it wouldn't matter. Our location is a sacred place that forbids beings that have been cursed from birth from entering. If they dare to set a finger through the border... Well... That would be a sight to see. "
Cruel chuckles flew out of the male's mouth and circled my head as if to torment me.
" Will you say something? "
I said nothing.
" Aren't Sirens supposed to sing? "
My hatred pierces the sky at the name. He sighs at my stubbornness.
" Alright, sweet thing if you insist. "
It disgusts me as I feel his heartbeat rise once his breath hit my face, it's too close for comfort and I pull my face backwards.
" Ah come on Y/N stop being so stubborn. "
...
" If you're good I'll do something, that'll cheer you up. "
He uses my surprise to plant a kiss on my lips. I clench my fist while rubbing my contaminated lips furiously. Laughter barged out of the male and I snort at him.
" Good girl. "
Softly the male uttered running a finger through my messy Y/H/C locks. Fearfully I offered him a glance.
" Was that so hard? "
He rolled his eyes- or so I imagined before throwing his arms around my shoulders and helping me to a location I decided was the place that would ' cheer me up '.
Maybe this could bring some hope to my drained brain.
Enjoy this very quick chapter ( That is not done I swear my brain is dead. )
