He's an asshole, he's rude, he's pushy, he's kind, he's handsome, and fuck. I got to stop. After finishing up my impromptu shower I meet him down in his garage like he asked me to. I didn't really want to be up and moving. I wanted to go back to my room and sit in the darkness some more.
I've felt dirty since that night. I don't know how to make it stop. My head keeps spinning and I hope like hell I can get out of this pool I'm drowning in. I got lucky. Nancy told me when I went to my check up two weeks ago that I was clean and that thankfully I hadn't gotten pregnant. I've been on birth control but that's never a hundred percent guarantee.
Walking into his garage makes me want to cry. First from all the amazing cars from his Charger to the vintage Aston Martin it looks like he's rebuilding, but it's the sight of my mustang that really does me in. I sob.
"Fuck Sawyer. You got to stop with the tears baby it's literally killing me. " I hear Mason, his voice coming from below me. I look down seeing him sliding out from under the Mustang face pulled tight.
"So-sorry. I'm not normally like this." I can't help the gasp that comes from he as he pulls me into his arms. He's warm and big. His muscles flexing as he squeezes me tight. I inhale his clean pine scent. I feel safe. I haven't felt like that since Gramps. He promised me he wouldn't let them hurt me again and he's kept it. He got my mom to sign over everything from Gramps and dad promising that we can go see the house soon. I don't know how but this stranger has been there more for me than my own mother. As much of a dick he can be he's also so fucking kind.
He steps back rubbing his neck making his shirt rise. I glance down quick for a peek of his hard rock abs hoping he doesn't notice.
His smirk confirms he did making me blush. Fucking blush!
"So I got all the parts we need to rebuild this beauty. I can help or you can tell me to fuck off if you want, but it's all here. You are gonna have to tell me what color you want to paint her. I got the dents out and smoothed over." He claps his hands and waves them over the pile of parts. I can sense his nervousness from here.
I walk over to my car giving it a once over.
"I built this car originally from the frame up with my Gramps." I tell him not waiting for a reply.
"William Jenkins was a kind man. He was gruff but was also a bit of a goof. You remind me of him." I smile at Mason watching his face scrunch up.
"Great now you think I'm your grandpa." He mutters.
I can't help but laugh. It's been so long since I've laughed.
"I definitely don't think you're my grandpa, but I would like your help on this." I say watching his frown turn into a beautiful and blinding smile. It takes up his whole face making his green eyes sparkle.
