Mind broken (Cross Over Fic)

A few days later, it was the 16th, none of the egos or sides thought much of the date or its curse. Shawn and Actor were all ready to get Dream and Anti out of that house, but they weren’t in the house when they got there. “What the hell? Was something planned today?” Shawn asked, confused and upset about the whole situation.

“What’s going on?” Virgil asked, peeking into the room.

“Dream and Anti are gone” Shawn said upset.

“I saw Dark, Henrik, and Sam took them out earlier” Virgil explained.

“they did? Where?” Shawn asked, panicked.

“I think I heard them say that they were going to the L’manburg crater”

“oh god- Actor we need to head there now!” Shawn grabbed Actor’s hand and ran out of the house with him. 

In the mind scape, Dream and Anti couldn’t see a thing that was going on. Anti was clinging onto Dream. “Who should go first?” Henrik’s voice echoed through the void.

“Anti should-” Dark strongly insisted.

“no, Dream should, he is more dangerous” Sam annoyingly implied.

“I agree with Dark” Henrik peraticly ignored Sam.

“What are they implying?” Damien asked.

“I have a bad feeling about what they're talking about-” Dream answered, holding Anti closer to himself.

“Should we remove the stitching? Xe doesn’t need it anymore technically” Henrik asked.

“Sure, it’ll make this somewhat easier” Dark replied.

Anti’s eyes lit up as xe was finally able to speak again. Once the stitches were gone, Anti smiled happily “I can talk again!” xe laughed excitedly. Dream smiled seeing how happy xe was, but that happiness was short lived as Anti’s expression quickly went from happy to pain.

Dream instantly recognized that xe was in pain “Anti? What’s wrong?”

“Everything hurts! It feels like I’m being drowned!” xe yelled out hot tears running down xes face. Xe hugged xemself “I don’t want to die!” xe cried.

Dream hugged xem thightly “I’m here. I’ll be with you until the very end” he quietly whispered in Anti’s ear. Barely a minute later the whole mindscape was dead silent “Anti?” Dream pushed Anti off himself. Anti was cold and completely motionless “Anti!? No nonononnono” tears filled his eyes as the whole mindscape vanished around him.

Soon, he opened his eyes to see himself being dragged in a chase. He quickly started running at the same pace as the one who was holding his hand. He never looked behind himself. He finally looked to see who was pulling him along, it was Shawn, and he hadn’t noticed that Dream had full control of his body. 

They finally stopped running once they reached a house in the snow. The house was built into a hill. “Whoa!” Dream said, breaking the silence, that got everyone to turn their attention to him.

“Dream?” Shawn asked in confusion.

“yeah?” Dream responded.

“you have control of yourself?”

Dream nodded in response “I do”. Before a single snowflake could hit the ground, Puffy had rushed to Dream and hugged him tightly. He hugged back “hi, mom” he said softly.

“hello my little duckling, I’ve missed you” she said with tears.

“I missed you, too” he wiped her tears.
