Narrator/Tails - It's a cold day, dark clouds in the sky. Rain pours over the usually sunny Green Hills, Canada. Everyone has noticed Sonic's strange behavior since that fight with Shadow, but no one knows why. Maybe it was the way they looked at eachother. The hurt and longing looks they couldn't help but share, we all noticed but knew it was something for them to overcome whether that be alone or together, I don't know. The strangest part was for seemingly the first time in his life Sonic Slowly moped around the shared space.
Knuckles - Sonic, you okay? It seems something has saddened you these past few days, was it that shadow guy I swear ill- (Knuckles raises his fist)
Sonic - Nah it's not him. I don't know, I've just felt kinda tired lately.. (Sonic lowers his head, not knowing what to say)
Knuckles - How about you go get some fresh air man, maybe stop at that chili dog place! That always seemed to cheer you up! (Knuckles faintly smiles)
Sonic - (Sonic tries to smile but can only look at knuckles sadly) I guess so, I don't really have anything better to do at the moment. (Sonic head out the door, his wallet and walkman in hand)
(Something in the Way instrumental - Nirvana starts playing as Sonic walks in the rainy cold streets)
Narrator/Tails - Sonic walks through the empty streets slightly shivering. The chili dog stand wasn't very far from the house, but for Sonic it felt like an eternity.
