~ ' 7:30pm Amakane Island, Kujou Sara POV ' ~

Sara arrived at Amakane Island, walking beside Ayaka. It smelt of Dango and fireworks and excited chattering could be heard all around the island, Sara was taken aback. It wasn't what she had expected, she couldn't help but feel herself loosen up a bit. There were no Tenryou Commission people here to bother her and no one was staring or glaring at her,  she was being treated like everyone else.

"You look very content Sara, almost happier than I've ever seen you," Ayaka politely whispered with a smile as she flicked up her fan and grabbed Sara's hand. Sara smiled again then let Ayaka lead her through the crowd until they found Yoimiya tinkering with fireworks near the top of the island.

"Hello Yoi, what are you doing?" Ayaka asked as the pair walked towards Yoimiya. Yoimiya had a miniature heart attack upon hearing their voices suddenly but bounced to her feet with an excited wave.

"Hello, Aya! Hello Madam Kujou! I'm just setting up the final part of the firework show, eeeee I'm so excited! Yoimiya replied while she jumped around happily.

"You can just call me Sara today, Ms. Yoimiya..." Sara said quietly her checks threatening to turn red. She couldn't help but notice how beautiful Yoimiya was in her kimono, it suited her.

"Well, you can call me Yoi then!" Yoimiya replied with a smile.

"Shall we go get Dango before the fireworks start?" Ayaka asked suddenly her eyes lighting up as she saw another Dango stall startup.

"Of course! Let's go!" Yoimiya screamed quietly, looking like she was about to bounce to Celestia with excitement.

Yoimiya grabbed Ayaka and Sara's hands and dragged them towards the Dango.

~ ' Timeskip to 9:30pm, Amakane Island, Sara POV ' ~

Sara sat next to Yoimiya and Ayaka at the top of Amakane Island, feet dangling off the edge of the little cliff, a magnitude of fireworks decorating the sky. There were pink ones, orange ones, purple ones, even one shaped like a goldfish! Sara was amazed, she couldn't feel happier. The last two hours felt like the best of her life, with her new friends and finally at peace. She was drawn in by the fireworks and thoroughly enjoyed the show. She no longer cared that fireworks were a fleeting illusory spectacle, eternity was no longer in her mind. Another 3 fireworks went off, an orange fish, a blue snowflake, and a purple bird, with a smile Sara moved back a bit and placed her hand down on the ground next to her, accidentally overlapping Yoimiyas's hand. Sara turned bright red as did Yoimiya but it was barely recognizable amongst the fireworks. Yoimiya moved her hand slightly so the two were holding hands, content as ever but both faces were as red as apples.

"This is amazing Yoimiya!" Sara whispered excitedly.

"I'm happy you like it! Did you see the purple bird I made for you!" Yoimya replied smiling.

Sara nodded and smiled widely at Yoimiya, happier than ever.  They both looked back up to the fireworks as footsteps came into earshot behind them.

"Madam Kujou?" Sara almost jumped out of her skin before turning around to see a Tenryou Commission guard crouched down beside her trying to not bring attention to them.

"Yes, what is it?" Sara replied firmly, letting go of Yoimiyas's hand and putting her serious general face back on.

"Mikoshi Genjirou has summoned for you, Madam Kujou," The guard whispered. Sara couldn't help but feel annoyed, she had been enjoying herself, and Mr. Mikoshi was a massive pain. However, she knew she couldn't refuse.

Sara stood up elegantly and whispered to Yoimiya and Ayaka, "I'm sorry I must go, a seemingly urgent matter has come up." Sara quickly bowed before hurriedly striding away back to Inazuma city.  If she had to deal with Mr. Mikoshi she wanted it over and done with.
