(Arlo's P.O.V)
After me and the rest of the group had eaten with River, who had made a large bowl of mushroom soup from the Meláni mushrooms, we had all started to get ready to sleep.
River seemed to have a bit of a different plan as he called for me and Annie.
"Hey Arlo, Annabella! Come here!"
Me and Anne exchanged a confused look before we opened the bedroom door to walk out.
"I made a bit too much tea so I was wondering if you guys wanted any." River stated, holding a small tea pot. Like really small.
"That looks pretty small. Are you sure?" Annie asked zem.
"Oh, it has an enchantment on it so that it's easier to store." He replied.
"Hm. Alright." I mumbled, thinking of a time when me and Annabella were younger.
I had been waiting in a simple room at my friend's castle. It was pretty and blue. I liked it.
"Thea! Thea!" Annie called my name, skipping over to me, her head maid in toe.
"Annie, what is it?' I tipped my head to the side.
"Pip Lilan had an idea for a mini tea party. What do you think, Thee-thee?" Annie gave me a soft smile.
"Of course, it sounds fun!" I gave back a big grin, following the two. We soon came to the room, with light teal walls, a small table and chairs in the middle.
Annie pulled me to a chair, sitting me down, her sitting on the other one. Lilan brought a small plate, about the size of an adult hand, with some itti bitti biscuits. This was along with a mini teapot, probably able to hold less tea than a normal teacup. There came a mini creamer jug, and a sugar bowl. Lilan brought over two mimi plates, smaller than our small child fingers. Along with the plates, came two mini teacups, the inside now bigger than our thumb tip.
"They're so cute!" I smiled at the cheerful friend beside me,
Lilan sat in the last chair, her knees cramped up to her chest. "Well, girls. This is also a lesson on table manners. Princess Athena, how about you pour some tea for us?" Lilan moved the teapot to me.
I looked at the small white teapot, picking it up carefully. I went to pour some tea for Lilan, but the tea ran down the spout, tea going into a puddle on the table. Lilan's face of calm was replaced with a panicked one. She quickly grabbed a cloth, cleaning up the spil. At this point me and Annie were just laughing.
"Girls, you need to be more careful with pouring it. It needs to be tilted more so it doesn't spill." Lilan explained to us. She poured some tea for Annie, showing it working properly. Lilan next handed Annie. She took the teapot, pouring some tea into mine.
"There you go, your majesty." Annie tipped her head, before we both burst out laughing again.
"Princess." Lilan sighed, "Please settle yourselves."
We muffled our laughs as Lilan moved the creamer jug over to us. Annie took it, so I didn't spill it again, pouring a little into each of our cups.
"Why thank you kind, um, madam?" My small childlike voice asked.
"Athena. Make sure your grammar is correct." The maid said.
"Yes Lilan!"
"Good now try to drink the tea."
Me and Annie picked up our teeny tea cups, trying hard not to spill the liquid inside. As we tipped the cup to our mouths, our eyes met and we both burst out laughing. The tea being sprayed everywhere in the process.
"Girls! The point of this activity is to be proper! To be a good princess you need to be elegant!" Lilan scolded, quickly cleaning up the spilt tea that covered the table.
"S-sorry-" Annie began, interrupting herself with laughter.
"Oh gosh..."
Lilan's a voice faded as I saw a hand waving in front of my face.
"Arlo? Are you alright? You spaced out for a bit." Annabella's concerned voice asked.
"Yeah." I mumbled quietly.
