2. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙧 𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨

-One year later -

"There! That's the last one unpacked." Ella said looking at a smiling Anna who was in a small blanket on the ground playing with her sensory bottle on their new house.

Ella puts a photo of her parents in a table with that was in the living room, she was about to turn the Tv on when she heard a knock on the door making her pause her movement.

"Coming." Ella calls out and opens the door with a smile.

"Yes." She said and was shock as the boy in front of her drops the plate of cookies looking wide eyed at her. "Oh! Are you okay?" Ella asked.

The boy was the same age as her, had short blueberry-black hair his bangs hidden half of his face but she could see his bluish-purple eyes. He was wearing a blue buttoned sweater, a pair of jeans, and black-and-white sneakers. The boy blushed and nods at her picking up the plate with the last cookies that were saved.

"Yeah...is just that...I mean my mom made some cookies for you as a welcome gift." The boy said holding the plate looking away from her, Ella could see his ears turning red. "I'm Viktor Parr." He said making Ella smile.

"So you must be the super hero family that will be looking after us from time to time. I'm Ella Blake." She introduced herself and smiles when she heard Anna coos making her way into the living room to pick her up.

"And this is Anna my baby sister, Anna meet Viktor." Ella said making Viktor look at her in shock but hides it since he was told by his mom that Ella was living on her own taking care of a baby since her parents died but he thought that Ella was an adult but shock to see that she was the same age as him.

'She's taking care of her baby sister on her own, wonder how she does it.' He thought and smiles at Anna who was cooing at him.

"Thank you for the cookies Viktor come in, are you going to the same school as me?" Ella asked putting the cookies on the dinner table and put some hot water for coffee. "Western view senior high school." She said making Viktor nod.

"Yeah, just a heads up we have a senior prom this week." He said watching her go around the kitchen getting some cups for coffee.

"Really? I was hoping they didn't plan of making prom not many school does that." Ella said putting Anna in a baby chair.

"Not a fan?" He asked and Ella shrugs.

"I mean with being a student/Mom(older sister)/ teen with super powers it doesn't seem like a good idea to go to one." Ella said with a shrug as she puts coffee in front of him and puts a jar of sugar.

"What's your power?" She asked Viktor.

"Um... invisibility and force field but I don't use them to much because you know we need to stay hidden." He said making Ella understand.

"What about you?" He asked and Ella raised her hand letting some snow flakes out and freezing her coffee.

"Magic hands, that's what I call them but there basically ice powers." Ella said with a smile seeing Viktor in awe of her powers. He was about to say something when someone barge into the house making Ella gasp raising her hands to attack when Viktor jumps to stop her.

"Wow! It's okay is my brother." Viktor said seeing her get tense as she was standing in front of Anna protectively, Dash had used his super speed to go around them. "Dash!" Viktor shouts using his force field in front of Dash making him bounce off.

"Hey! Don't kill the messenger." Dash shouts as he gets up from the floor with a frown. "How about knocking the door first! This isn't even your house." Viktor said glaring at his little brother.

"What are you even doing here?" He asked and Dash huffs crossing his arms. "Mom wanted me to tell you that you should invite the new girl tonight for dinner, hi I'm Dash." Dash said really fast that even Ella had to carefully listen to him.

"Hi, Dash I'm Ella and this is Anna. Next time could you please knock, I could have hurt by accident." Ella said and Dash nods.

"So are you in?" Dash asked making Ella look at Anna.

"What do you think Anna?" Ella asked and Anna's response was a big smile and her giggles were heard.

"We'll make sure to bring dessert." Ella said with a smile making the Parr siblings nod.
