20. 𝙊𝙡𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨

"What do you mean you don't know?" Viktor asked as he tucks in Anna in a temporary cradle that Ella brought from the house after making a quick stop. Currently, Ella was washing her teeth in the bathroom and Viktor came into the room to sleep over after dad give him the talk which he really didn't need that right now.

"Like I said I don't know okay, I have a life that I need to focus. Like go back to school which I'm almost done, look after Anna and her new power." Ella said as she spits out the toothpaste washing everything away, she dries up with a small towel walking out of the bathroom wearing her big blue shirt with pale blue shorts. "And I can't be out there fighting crime and one day dying leaving her behind alone." She said with a frown as she takes a spot in the bed, Viktor holds her hand as they lay down facing each other.

"You don't have to fully commit to crimes maybe just do small things." Viktor said with a shrug. "Have Winston give you small crimes and don't worry I'll help out with Anna so you don't have to." He said holding her close. 

"How did I get so lucky to get a understanding boyfriend." She said with a smile and kiss him on the lips, he chuckles hands roam, stroking over her back, her waist, holding her hips in a soft grasp, sighing into her lips as he felt the room heat up which he knew that he needs to stop before things get more heated up.

"You're right, I'll give him a call tomorrow." Ella said with a smile as she pulls away, she and Viktor haven't really talked about going further for a reason because they just started dating. She lets Viktor hold her close as they sleep.

Then next morning, Ella had a look of shock and disbelief as she holds her sister staring at the burned house destroyed into pieces, Viktor also had the same expression who came to help her get some clothes. The police we're outside writing a report by the neighbors near by and firefighters coming out of the burned house, Ella quickly stops one of them.

"Wait! What happened to my house?" Ella asked and the man shrugs looking a bit confused. "We got a called around 3:00 a.m. about a house burning down, the neighbors even called saying that the fire was blue instead of a red fire." He said making Ella frown, she looks at the neighbors recognizing one of them.

"Miss Lopez, what did you see?" She asked as the elderly lets out a relief sound walking towards them with her cane. "Ella! I'm so glad you and Anna are okay, I was so worried when I saw the fire coming out of the house." Miss Lopez said with a smile.

"You should have seen it dear, it was blue and I could feel the heat from this far away. It took the firefighters hours to put it out, but I did find this surprisingly it wasn't burned out." She said and Ella takes it letting out a smile, it was a picture of her parents when she was 7 in between them.

"Thank you, Miss Lopez." Ella said as Miss Lopez walks away with a nod, she turns around to speak with Viktor only to see that he wasn't there. "Of course he left." She said with a sigh seeing that he disappeared for a quick second and seeing a floating notepad.
