Chapter 13 - This is extremely weird

It's been quite a while since I officially started learning under my older siblings. Every day was exhausting as f*ck because of what they do to me. At least we do get breaks every now and then. I forgot when and how we started doing this but I and my older siblings sometimes sneak out of the palace from time to time to explore the capital. We never really got into trouble doing it since no one can really harm us because both my sister and my brother are just that strong and we were permitted to go outside from time to time, just as long as it doesn't interfere with our studies.

It was still freezing cold in the capital. White sheets of snow were everywhere. Everyone wearing warm clothes all the time. Children always playing with the snow and stuff. Now did I think about it, I have never seen green grass or anything else that correlates to seasons other than winter in this place. It's been cold all this time. It was snowing for most of the time as if it is winter all year long. Thanks to that, my ice/cold resistance has risen up quite a bit all this time.

I asked my mother why it is snowing and cold all the time here and she explained that we currently live in one of the most northern and coldest empires on this continent. She said that it has always been this way for thousands of years now and the people living here don't really mind the cold that much. So we live in one of the coldest empires ever?! And we are also at the most northern part of the continent? Yeah, no wonder this place is cold. This place is basically this world's version of the Arctic or something.

Does that mean that most monsters that I will find here are ice-types or something? Man, that will be annoying. They did say that monsters here are stronger than normal because of their resistance and the intrinsic skills that they get by living in the cold for so long. It is also because we have a very high magicule concentration in the surrounding areas that makes stronger monsters spawn.

To be honest, I'm quite surprised that this place is this peaceful when there are very strong monsters living near here. It just goes to show that my parents are properly managing the empire and the people here are strong enough to protect themselves.

Also, I still haven't been able to use some of my unique skills like Wrath and Gluttony, mainly because I don't have anything to use them for, and from what I know, they are pretty dangerous to use. Both of these unique skills are part of the [Sins Series] so they are very dangerous. Gluttony is basically a black hole that can absorb pretty much almost everything and Wrath is somewhat a nuclear reactor that makes the user stronger and more dangerous the longer it is running. I really can't use them... I wonder when I'm allowed to do some monster hunting to get some experience regarding fighting monsters.

I know both my older siblings are very experienced in fighting them considering what they did months ago. They said they started doing some monster hunting ever since they were permitted by both of our parents. I wonder when I could do it too...

Now, my sister is still somewhat salty at me for what happened on the first day when I just left her to deal with our parents all by herself so the lessons were harder than what was intended and she usually force me to use magic to the point of exhausting most of my magicules or she turns me into somewhat of a guinea pig for some magical experiments. I guess I did this to myself but still-

I do try to make up with her from time to time but she is still quite salty despite my best efforts. I do give her gifts and such to make her happy but it rarely even works. At one point, I gave up on it thinking that nothing will change anyway but she became even saltier, man this is annoying.

There was also that one point where my mind went blank out of nowhere and I started treating my sister as a girl rather than a sibling; I flirted with her from time to time with no one noticing and that somehow fixed her. Although I don't know what I did to her, she did eventually become somewhat normal. But... she did become more possessive of me and was weird from time to time.
