"Wait, I'm sorry, I must have heard it wrong. Can you please repeat what you just said?"
《Response. The elements that you have an affinity with are all of them.》
"What?!" I shouted, I mean who wouldn't be surprised?!
I don't know how rare this is but it should be pretty rare, right? And if I do have an affinity to every single element then doesn't that mean I can use all of them?
Eh? Isn't that way too broken though? I mean I don't know what affinities my older siblings have but from what I saw, even my older brother, who I assume has only one elemental affinity which was fire, was already strong enough to cause massive bursts of flames every swing. Plus my older sister also used multiple types of magic with different elements and it was already pretty strong.
Isn't this a bit too unfair? I mean sure I am a reincarnated person but still, to be able to use every single element is something that other people can't do, right?
《Negative. While it is true that having multiple elemental affinities makes you stronger and are considerably rarer the more elemental affinity you have, the belief of someone not being able to use elements that they don't have an affinity with is completely wrong. Any being can use any type of elemental magic as long as they have sufficient magicules, knowledge, and control to use it.》
《Affinity, in this world's definition, indicates one's strongest type of elemental magic that one can use. This means if one has the elemental affinity of fire, they would have a higher proficiency and power in fire-type magic and abilities than those who don't have an affinity to it.》
《All types of elemental magic can be grouped into types: Fire, Water, Light, Dark, Spirit, Shadow, Nature, Null, Air, Sound, Earth, Ice, Metal, Lightning, and Normal. Each type has its own sub-type of magic, an example would be [Solar Magic] which is a sub-type under Fire. One can either have an affinity with the main types or the sub-types of elemental magic.》
《The key differences between having a main type or sub-type are that having an affinity with a main elemental type means you have significantly more proficiency and power with that element and all of its sub-types, but it doesn't mean you have an affinity with its sub-types, you are only have that affinity in that main type of element, the main type will more powerful and its sub-types is only somewhat stronger than not having an affinity with it. However, if you have an affinity with a sub-type, you have more proficiency and power in that single sub-type only, but despite lacking in diversity, it does make up by being a lot stronger than having an affinity with a main elemental type, the only downside is that it only has that affinity with one sub-type and all other sub-types related to it won't be stronger.》
So in summary, anybody can just use any elemental magic as long they have enough magicules and other requirements, right?
《Affirmative. It is as you said.》
And from what I understand, am I allowed to assume that this is the hierarchy of elemental magic from weakest to strongest depending on which you have an affinity or not: Not having an affinity with the element < Sub-types of the main element you have an affinity with < Main type of elemental magic < Affinity with a sub-type element, am I right?
《Affirmative. Also, to clarify what I stated earlier, you have an affinity with every single element which includes all of the main types of elemental magic and all sub-types there is.》
Wait, what?! So when it meant everything, it literally meant everything?! Including all of the subtypes? That's too broken. I mean it pretty much means that I have the most potential when it comes to magic than anybody in the world since I have an affinity with every element there is. It means that all of my elemental magic is considerably stronger than most, no matter which element it is. Yup, this is broken then. I wonder how am I supposed to explain this to my parents and the Pope if I have this.
