Chapter 3 - My New Daily Life

A lot of time passed after I remembered everything. I rearranged and collected all of my thoughts while in that time, after that I just started thinking about random stuff. Soon after, I started to have some questions and started asking my [Unique Skill: Knowledge] about some differences between this world and the world of that slime isekai that I know.

It was tedious, mostly because almost all of its answers were too complex for someone like me but there were some topics that I got interested in.

After a while of back-and-forth question-and-answer, I realized after a while that some of my questions can't be answered due to the lack of knowledge despite being the literal unique skill named knowledge. But it did tell me to go to the royal library to learn things that I can't get answers on.

I will go there eventually at some point, but now I have more reason to go there then. I was getting excited for some reason, maybe because I love books.

Time quickly went by as the sun rises and before I knew it, it was morning.

A bright yellow sun, clear skies with not many clouds. It was a refreshing morning.

I guess nothing changed about the morning I knew well in my previous life.

Afterward, I instinctively was about to start the daily stretch that I used to do in my previous life to see how well it is to be young again until I heard knocking.

"Your Royal Highness Tomo-sama! It is time to rise!" an unfamiliar voice from behind the door was heard. Also, who are they calling royal highness? Is there someone like that in here?

Oh right, I'm royalty, goddamnit I forgot. I guess it didn't give me enough shock to remember that I'm someone important.

So it means I have a personal attendant or something. Although, maybe it's just one of the servants working in this place. Ther again, if I'm one of the princes' of this empire, I should have a personal assistant or something right?

Though I don't think I know this voice, I have no recollection of it in my memories. Is it a new one? Well, I guess I will find out.

"Come in," I said in a cute voice to avoid suspicion. It feels annoying and cringy, to be honest.

The door quietly and aggressively opened to see a rather young-looking maid with a flustered look on her face, I guess she didn't expect the door to open that fast. Her clothes seemed to be too fancy for any ordinary maid though, it reminds me of those head maids' status but I'm pretty sure she is not the head maid of this place.

After regaining composure, she seemed surprised to see me. Why though? Why is she looking at me like that, it is creeping me out.

It took her a while before she started speaking.

"This may be rude for me to say Your Royal Highness but...it seems you have woken up quite earlier than usual..."

Wait, that's it? She was confused because I woke up early? Why though?

I started to think about why she is acting like this and looked through my memories until I figured it out.

'Ah, I usually wake up pretty late huh.' I thought that children wake up super early but I guess not for me. No wonder she was surprised.

I mean, I did wake up in the middle of the night and didn't sleep back, plus since I have the mindset of a 15-year-old, I didn't mind not sleeping this whole time.

"Well, I didn't get to sleep since midnight so that's why I was up early-"

"What?!"

Ow, damn, that is loud. She was dumbfounded by that statement I just said. I mean I would be like that too if the person you are serving was known to not wake up early, was not only early to wake up but didn't sleep from midnight.
