Last time we left of with our hero defeating the flame hashira shinjuro rengoku in battle. Now let's us see what our hero is doing.

At the moment Jin is walking around the ubuyashiki state to just look around since he doesn't have anything to do and he doesn't have a state to stay in, because he is seven so He has to stay with kagaya ubuyashiki and his family.
Jin: this scenery is quite relaxing....

Jin: what should I do? I just came back from a mission and I'm already bored.
Jin: wait, I remember my father telling me about my grandfather and granduncle both having fighting styles that let them use their devil magic in unique ways.
Jin: my grandfather had the dark slayer style which let him teleport around using his speed and summoned swords but to teleport very long distances he needed to implant at least one summon sword but the range was very high if he did manage to do it.
Jin: Trickster, one my grand uncle's fighting styles, kind of acted like the dark slayer style but the range of the teleportation was mediocre at best but he didn't need the sword implanting thing that the dark slayer style did. It would also allow him to dash around freely through the air and on the ground.
Jin: hmmm....I wonder, if I can mix the dark slayer and the trickster style but remove as many back lashes and limits as I can....what will happen?
Jin: ok let's try combining the the dark slayer and trickster style.
And after deciding about what to do with the two style our hero starts to focus his devil power.
Jin: *starts to focus* alright, let's do this. *blue energy surrounds his body.*
at that moment Jin suddenly disappeared. And a second later a crash could be heard.
Jin: ouch. Why did it have to be a wall? *sigh* Who am I trying to fool I can't feel a certain amount of pain.
Jin: alright, try controlling the speed.*teleports again*
And our hero crashed into a wall yet again...
Jin: ouch. Again!
And the same cycle continues for a few hours
After a few hours of hour hero trying to get the hang of teleportation we see that the sun is about to set and our hero is sitting underneath a tree covered in his own blood with a wooden branch sticking out of his forehead.
Jin: alright, *pulls the branch out of his forehead and throws it away*
