Now we go back to our hero after he just met a devil within his mind again after a day of Vetis' torture.

3 Person pov:

After Jin saw the unknown devil he was confused at why he was here and who even was he.

???: not your best of days, am I right child?

Jin: you are one of the devils I saw in that dream.

Jin recalled the memory in which he first met the devil that was standing in front of him. He also recalled there was another devil in his dream but... where was he now?

Jin: w-where is the other devil I saw in that dream?

???: let's forget about him for now.

Jin: why are you here?

???: because I want to propose a deal...

Jin: a deal?

???: yes, a deal.

Jin was now on guard. If there was one thing he his family taught him about devils, it was that devils are not to be trusted. Even still, he was a bit interested.

Jin: what do you mean by a deal?

???: well... I could get you out of this hell hole, by giving you the tiniest amount of my power and abilities. That alone would be more than enough to kill that devil who calls himself Vetis. Even if he tried to use your parents against you again, with that tiniest amount of my power and abilities that I will give you, they will be no more than mere insects.

Jin: you sound incredibly arrogant in your power and abilities.

???: I speak only the truth child.

Jin was starting to give this deal a fought, but the young devil hunter knew that in a deal everything you gain has its price to pay for...

???: you don't have to answer right away child. I will give you time to think. I will visit every year to see if you made your decision. And also, no need for a gratitude.

Jin was confused at this statement and looked at the devil in front of him with a confused look which the devil responded to with a sarcastic look.

Jin: what do you mean by that?

???: *sigh* look at your wounds.

Jin listened to devil and looked at his wounds to see that all of them were fully healed. He wasn't bleeding nor did he felt pain but his skin was completely scarred. And his finger nails, starting to turn into a dark shade of red...

Jin: how and why did yo-

???: the answer to those questions are for me to know and you to discover.

Jin was a bit irritated that the devil didn't answer but then the devil looked back and said something that made Jin expression turn into that of worry.

???: well give the deal a think.

Jin: why do you suddenly want to leave?
