The kids had been rowing all night once again. By the time Elliot's turn to row had come again, the sky was becoming red and the sun was about to rise. June, who was on lookout, saw a few buildings come into view. Elliot hoped they were getting closer to home, and desperately before the boat's boiler blew. June told the others that she definitely saw a city, but wasn't sure it was Duckburg just yet. The kids only found out when they sailed closer to the city, and passed a podium like structure with a domed roof at the end of a long bridge. The window close to its top was labeled with a dollar sign.

"It's the Money Bin!" June exclaimed.

"We made it!" Elliot cheered, letting go of the oars and raising his fists.

The girls cheered with him, glad to finally be back home. Elliot rowed the boat to the shore they had previously pushed it from when the journey had started, and the kids hopped off.

"Got everything?" Elliot asked, checking his backpack.

The girls nodded, doing the same.

"June, do you still have the stone?"

June reached into her backpack and pulled out the dragon-skin pouch. She opened it to make sure the stone was still there, then closed it before the flames coming out burned her eyes.

"Got it!" she confirmed with an excited grin.

"Alright," Elliot said, nodding. "Now let's get this boat back home!"

The kids grabbed the boat by its sides, and carried it over their heads, just as they did to get it to the shore. They trudged through the city, carrying the boat back to the gates of the mansion. Elliot pressed the button next to the security speaker, and the gate opened for the kids. They kept carrying the boat all the way back up Kilmotor Hill, and up to the doors of the mansion. Elliot was a little nervous as to what was waiting for him and his sisters. Scrooge might punish him for not obeying, their parents would probably be mad, their cousins a little too, and then there was Delilah. Would she forgive Elliot for leaving her in the middle of the night a second time? May and June were about to open the door, when they saw the concerned look on Elliot's face.

"Elliot?" June said.

"What's wrong?" May asked.

Elliot sighed.

"Mom and Dad are probably mad at us for doing this," he said sadly, "Uncle Scrooge is probably gonna kill me for not waiting until morning to do this with him, and...and Delilah...."

He stopped in his words, then he fell to his knees and started crying. He felt awful, and the lump in his stomach weighed even more. He put his hands over his face, and sobbed into them, finally letting his emotions about missing Delilah loose. May and June instantly put down the boat and hugged their brother, who they knew desperately needed comfort.

"I don't think she's going to be mad at you," May reassured him.

"We know she missed us, and we could tell you missed her," said June. "She'll be alright, and yeah, she won't be mad."

Elliot hugged his sisters back, and his sobs started to subside. He nodded and wiped the tears off his face and helped pick the boat back up. June, who was at the front of the boat, opened the door and the kids speedwalked the small rowboat back out to the houseboat in the pool. Apparently, their parents and youngest sister were out doing something else, so they put the boat back in its place in the closet. They felt that the rest of their family was in the mansion, probably telling Scrooge how worried they were because the three of them had been missing for almost three days. They ran into the mansion to see if their assumption was true, and the answer awaited them in Scrooge's study.
