As soon as the mountain top blasted, they could see the whole snowy mountain crumble down.

The army sent their air force to pick up their soldiers stationed there and were lucky enough to see the four teams halfway on their way away from danger and were escorted back to the base.

With three teams secured and only one injured commrade amongst them, the head of the base felt proud. However the three teams remained sombre and didn't want to speak of their findings up the mountain if their General or their Major from Alphas team wasn't present.

After scouting the fourth time around the ongoing debris of what once was a mountain, the air force had traced activities from one of the natural caves in the back of the mountain that seemed to emerge from the northeast side where the whole side of the mountain was turning into debris.

They aimed their weapons at them prepared to fire if they were the enemies but as soon as the first person stepped out, a pink flare was sent up and their identities were confirmed through the radio transmitter.

"Eagle 1 here, confirm your identities."

"Alpha team reporting, I repeat Alpha team reporting. Mission complete." The soldier said and the air force officers breathed in relief.

They went down and hauled them up and went silent as they saw a casualty and one person missing. Their General.

They flew at a very fast pace and reached the base all of them looking resigned and sombre.

The head of the base looked worried. All those who were waiting for the Alpha team, rushed towards them and the Delta, Beta and Gamma team froze on their spot before straightening up and paying their respects to their fallen leader.

"Where is the General?" The head asked and saw the Alpha team look down.

"Missing sir. He acted as a distraction for us to escape since we seemed to be surrounded by fortified bunkers and snipers at the top of the mountain." Major Nie of the Alpha team spoke somberly.

"Last location?" The head, who was the Lieutenant Colonel asked trying to be calm.

The one who had last seen him stood up straight and saluted. "Captain Wen reporting. The last location of the General was 90° to the northwest of th mountain up a cliff. He probably is on the northwest side that is a body of water."

"We know where to look. Our navy will be looking for him go report to your stations. Good job soldiers!" The Lieutenant Colonel said and dismissed them.

He hissed and send a distress signal to someone discreetly before walking away in anger.

Major Nie's eyebrows twitched who stood a bit far away from where the Colonel was bit he could see him well. Something wasn't sitting right to him.

He discreetly asked the heads of the Delta, Beta and Gamma team into his tent to discuss what they had found on their mission.

Things fell into place as Major Nie listened to the Delta team speak.

"Wiretapping the base right infront of the terrorist front? It definitely seems someone on the inside is at work." He spoke narrowing his eyes.

"Keep this from everyone. If they ask for reports, tell them that you've given them to me." Major Nie told them and they readily agreed.

"However what are your plans now Major Nie?" The Delta team captain asked.

"Alert the big boss." Major Nie smirked and as this was the tent he shared with his best friends General Pavel and the Late Major Lin, he knew what to do.
