In-between

In-between inhale and exhale
We reside.

It's like in every inhale a peace of your soul becomes mine
And I exhale and you take mine.

In a single sigh
our souls interwine.

We both inhale then time stops
Then we choose to exhale let time reset
Because if we hold on too much we perish in to thin air.

So we must exhale cherishing each sigh
Taking longer to breath each time.

until we inhale one last time
Wishing there was an in-between,
we finally sigh.
