Reaper's Garden

I was standing on the mast with Gon and Killua when I saw Yorknew City in the distance.

"Look there it is!" I said.

"Yeah! I can't wait to see Kurapika and Leorio!" Gon said.

"It's hard to believe that the last time we saw each other was six months ago," Killua said.

We kept talking about the auction and meeting Kurapika and Leorio, and I didn't notice the falcon above us until it swooped down.

"This is the url for the hunter website!" said Killua.

"Great! Let's get started!" Gon said.

"Yeah!" I said.

The ship docked and we got off. We first stopped by an internet cafe to check the hunter website for information. Gon swiped his hunter's license, and I felt aura around the monitor. I opened my eyes and was inside the website? How was that possible? The bartender started explaining Greed Island. Apparently it work in a similar way to the hunter's website, pulling you inside with nen. Then he listen the price, and I leaned in closer. Eight point nine billion. That was the lowest starting bid. We left the website and I frowned at the boys.

"How do we make eight point nine billion in a few days? That's impossible!" I said.

"Maybe, but we could if we play our cards right," said Killua.

"Well, I also need to go explore Reaper's Garden. There are supposed to be some treasures there. I could try stealing them," I said.

"No, you don't need to do that," Gon said. "That would just cause more trouble for you, and we have enough time, we don't need to try something like that."

"If you say so," I said. "Then I'll be off. Gotta check it out before the auction starts."

I left them and went to a hotel to get ready. I changed into a dark purple lantern sleeved turtleneck, and an even deeper purple skirt with shorts under it. I wanted to look good, but practicality was still important. It was always a pain to get dressed with only one arm, but I had gotten used to it. Now it barely took me any time at all. I was about to leave, but I decided to put on a purple stripped scarf, just so that my face would be partially concealed.

Now I just had to get to Reaper's Garden. There wasn't a direct road to get there, so I would have to go by foot. I took off in the direction it was in, not wasting any time.

I had been running for hours with no sign of it. I just knew the general location, so I would just have to wait until I saw it. I went ahead and activated my zetsu before I was close enough for someone to sense it.

I kept running for a bit, and I saw a dark shape looming in the distance. That must've been it. It looked like a wall, and it was surrounded by guards. There were a couple nen users I noticed, but there were probably more further in. I made myself a ghost and invisible before continuing. The wall was so big I could barely see where it curved into a circle.

I snuck past the guards easily and passed through the first wall. It was five walls, the inner section was the most dangerous. It was where all the most dangerous criminals were, along with the treasure. Each section was a prison, but also a graveyard for any of the prisoners who died there. This was also where they brought the most dangerous people to be killed. It was safer here, especially in the inner wall. But the people in the inner wall were the worst of the worst, only about 700 criminals had ever been kept there. Even more had just been taken there to die. Right now there were about 200 prisoners. The other 500 were still there, just in the ground.

The first wall was mainly prison buildings, there wasn't a graveyard here. These people weren't dangerous enough for that. I looked around and no one here knew nen. They were barely a threat at all. Some of them were murderers, predators, bank robbers, none of them mattered. I kept going until I had passed through the second wall. Here some of the people knew nen, but the ones who didn't didn't really need it. Each wall got smaller and smaller going in, but the inner wall was the biggest of them all. I didn't really know why it needed so much space, but maybe it was just because there were other things there too, not just criminals.
