"Those guys really pissed me off!" said Gon as he punched the stairs we were sitting on.
"Well, they were pros. It's not like there was a lot we could do," I said.
"Yeah," added Killua. "We don't even have any spell cards."
After winning a card in a rock paper scissors contest, a group of people stole it from us. Now we didn't know what to do. If we kept doing contests and getting cards that way people would just steal them from us.
"Then I'm gonna start getting spell cards!" said Gon.
"That means we should head to Masadora next, the city of magic," said Killua.
"Alright then, let's go," I said.
We sold the other cards we had gotten from the pasta eating contest, earning us about 120,000 Jenny.
"I can't believe those cards were so valuable. We don't need to worry about money now," said Gon. "Let's buy some food and water so we can start for Masadora!"
"But we'll need a map first," I said. "We have no clue where Masadora actually is."
"Okay, so the map with info on it is 650,000, while the blank one is 20,000," said Killua as we looked at the maps in the shop. "Which one to we get?"
"The blank one! It'll be more fun to fill it in ourselves!" said Gon.
"You're way to positive Gon," I said. "I wish I could be as positive as you."
"Didn't you just say I was too positive?" he asked confused.
"Whatever, just get the map," I sighed.
Once we purchased it and stepped outside, we used gain on it, turning it into an actual map. With nothing on it.
"This... doesn't tell us anything," I said.
"Then let's ask someone!" said Gon. We went to a man and he told us to go north 80 kilometers. Then follow a lake north.
"Great! If we get going now we can cover that in a day!" said Killua.
"Yeah!" Gon and I said together.
"That's assuming you survive," said the man. "The mountain is crawling with bandits. And once you pass the mountain you'll run into hoards of monsters."
"Now it's starting to sound like an RPG!" said Killua.
"I wanna see those monsters!" said Gon.
"And the bandits!" I added. "Let's hurry!"
We left the building and were about to start running when a girl ran up to us. She was blond and wearing a pink dress.
"Wait! I beg you!" she said.
"What?" asked Killua.
"Please let me join you!" she said.
"Oh, sorry, we can't," said Killua. I nodded.
"Why not?" she asked.
"You'd be a nuisance," said Killua.
We started walking away, but then she followed us. Ugh. We really didn't need someone that annoying with us. We kept running for a while, but she just kept trailing us.
"Hey, what should we do about her?" asked Gon.
"Just ignore her," I said. "Once the bandits show up we can ditch her."
"Isn't that kind of mean?" asked Gon.
"Tsezguerra let her pass, so she must be strong. She's just annoying," I said. "She won't be in any real danger."
