Sooga x Female!Shy!Reader (Protect You)

Y/N was...different from the rest of the Yiga. She was quiet, kept to herself most of the time, but she was mostly..a pacifist. Because of this, the Yiga Clan have mixed thoughts about her. The only reason she was still there was for food supply as she would go into disguise and buy bananas everywhere. It kinda sounds like her life is miserable, but, she was happy of one thing..her friend Sooga.

She would train, read, eat, and even talk with him. The two were close and this displeased the Yiga as they were confused on why a shy pacifist girl to be the masters right hand lackey's favorite. They also realized how later on in their friendship how protective Sooga was over her. If they were even whispering to each other talking about her, they would earn a piercing glare. Or worse, if some members chose death and picked on her for being weak, Sooga would literally use them as his next training dolls. The Yiga decided to take advantage of this however, and test to see exactly WHY she's Sooga's favorite.

Y/N was minding her business by reading and eating a banana. She watched Sooga train as she gave him encouragement. At some point, Sooga stopped training and went to talk to Y/N for a little bit. "Y/N, Master Kohga ordered me to do a mission about the Hyrulian forces. I'll be out for a bit, will you be alright by yourself?" Y/N nodded and smiled. "Yes, I'll just sit here and keep reading. Good luck." Sooga patted her head as he left. Little did they both know, that this was a perfect opportunity for the Yiga to start their plan.

Y/N waved goodbye to her friend and continued reading. She was stopped however by some Yiga foot soldiers. "Hey Y/N! We noticed that Master Sooga left you alone here, cause of that, we were wondering if we could do some training." Y/N felt nervous to speak as she was very antisocial. "U-umm, yeah sure! You can use the training room." Y/N closed her book and got up. "I..can just go into another room." Two Yiga foot soldiers then blocked her way with their sickles. "Oh no Y/N, we don't need the equipment, we already got one." "W-what-" before she could even ask, she felt herself get cut on her face as she felt the sickles pierce her cheek as she narrowly dodged it. "Looks like she's got some moves after all, but let see if she fights."

Back to Sooga, the Yiga eventually fled the scene cause of their failed mission. Sooga sighed to himself as he was disappointed in himself because of this failure and what Master Kohga is going to say about this. The troops eventually made it back into the hideout. Sooga made his way back to the training room, but the closer he got, he could hear screams be heard. Right when he heard the first scream, he immediately ran to the training room.

When he got there, he saw the Yiga foot soldiers "training" with Y/N. She was covered with cuts and bruises, with tears in her eyes asking them she gives up. "You're a weakling and shame of the Yiga Clan." The foot soldier says. "I don't even know what Master Sooga sees in you weakling." "Why don't you ask him yourself?" Said Sooga with fury and distastefulness in his voice. The soldiers trembled in fear as they watched Sooga get in front of Y/N as she hid behind him.

"M-Master Sooga! We were just training I swear!" "Save it. Allow me to finish your training." He grabbed his swords and the soldiers, so much in fear fled off to who knows where. Sooga hmphed and put his swords back in his sheath. 'I'll deal with them later." He thought as he turned back to see Y/N's injuries.

He picked her up bridal style and walked off with her to his room. She grunted in pain as they walked, Sooga tried his best to be careful. He laid her down gently on the bed and grabbed medical aid kits. He then grabbed alcohol, cotton balls, tweezers, and gauze. He started applying the alcohol on the cotton balls and grabbed it with the tweezers. "This will sting a little." He said as he applied the alcohol onto her cuts. She hissed in pain as the bacteria was being cleaned. This process kept repeating till it was finished.

"You can sleep in my room for the night." Sooga said. "I'm sorry Y/N, I should of been there to protect you." He held his head down in shame in front of her. But, he felt a soft small hand on his cheek. "Sooga, if you weren't there to help, I don't know what would of happened to me. Thank you. Don't ever feel bad about yourself. It's never your fault." Sooga placed her hand off his cheek and held it with a little squeeze. "Y/N, I want you to know,
even when I'm out of reach, I will still always be there to protect you."
