Chapter 16

*6 months later*

{Lauren pov}

Its been 2 out of 6 months. 2 months since I caught Stacy with some girl in her bed, Sucks that I thought it was going to last forever but sadly I was wrong. I'm sitting in my room looking out my bedroom window, Its funny how you think you found that girl that makes you smile and makes you be the best. People say love is a beautiful thing but they don't tell you that it can also kill you.

"Laur" I turn and see Kota at my bedroom door, I turn back around and stand up "lets go" I tell him. He nods and and we head out the door, ever since I dumped the cheater I've been on the same schedule. School, then to my uncle Don place he recently got out of jail for street racing so I've been working on some cars with him.

"Laur which one are you taking?" Kota asks referring to my bike or my black dodge challenger that I drive, I nudge my head towards my bike and he nods while getting in his white dodge challenger. Kota has also been working with my uncle, we get paid to help fix the cars and all that shit. We stick around cause we got told we could race when we turn 17 which will be soon.

I head over to my bike pulling out my keys and I jump on. I start the bike and zoom off, Kota honks his horn behind me and I turn to look at him. He sticks his hand out the window and signals me to slow down, I slow down just a tiny bit and he catches up. We arrive at the school and park in our parking spots, I jump off my bike and put my keys in my pocket "Laur you need to be more careful" I turn to look at my best friend and smile, I put my arm around his neck and we head inside

"Look kota my boy, I got it under control" I tell him. We walk to our lockers and throw our book bags inside and grab the books we need, "So when is you're cuz moving down here?" he asks me "she said soon so I'm not exactly sure" I shrug. He nods and says bye and heads to his class, I make my way to mine and sit in the back. I'm sitting in class when all of the sudden I see her. Stacy Lopez, she walks in and sits on the other side of the room never taking her eyes off of me. I roll my eyes and wait for Camila to get to class. Speaking of the devil she walks in, she walks over to where I am and sits beside me "Hey Lo" she says with a huge smile on her face

"Hello gorgeous" I say back with a wink. She smiles and takes out her notes, "did you study?" she ask I nod my head "oh yea all night" I say, she chuckles. We sit there and talk some more until the teacher walked in the class and began talking. I turn to look at camila and see her really into whatever the teacher was saying, I smile and reach over to snatch her pencil out her hand "Lo" she whines. I smile and point to my cheek so she would kiss it, she shakes her head no and I shrug my shoulders I put the pencil inside my jean pocket and turn to look at the front.

She reaches over to my pocket but I move and her hand lands on my crotch, she looks at me with her eyes wide and I smirk at her. She pulls her hand away like it was on fire "L-lo give me my pencil" she says while extending her hand, I grab her hand and kiss it "what's the magic word?" she looks at me and sighs "please" she says. I take out the pencil from my pocket and put it in her hand "thank you" she says with a smile.

The bell rings and I grab my stuff and head out to look for Kota. I was walking down the hall when all of the sudden I see Stacy with Dakota, I walk up to them and unlock my locker "hey Lo" I hear Stacy say to me. I don't even turn to look at her "well imma go" she says and I see her walk away, I slam my locker shut and lean up against it "dude shes just doing that to get to you" I hear Kota say while patting my back. I shrug my shoulders and grab my bag that I had put on the floor, "how about we go out tonight" he says while giving me a scary look. I chuckle and start to walk away "stop making that face and we will" I say, I see him swat his hand and walk over to his girlfriend.

I turn around and bump into Kenny boy "oh hey Lo" I look at him and wait for him to run his mouth "you coming to practice today?" he asks me, I look at him and roll my eyes "aren't I there every practice" I say "right my bad" he says while lifting his hand in defense "well I'll see you later" I nod my head and kept walking to my next class. I get in class in sit in the back and lay my head on the desk.

*After school*

I was heading to the locker room to get ready for football practice when all of the sudden I get pulled into an empty class "what the hell?" I say while looking at the blue eyed girl "sorry we just need to talk" she says as she lets go of my arm "there is nothing to talk about" I say, I see her look down at her feet and then look back up at me "Lo i'm sorry. that night wasn't suppose to go like that, it just happened" she says as tears run down her face "I don't care anymore Stacy. whatever happened is between you and that other hoe" I say starting to get upset. I turn around and head out the door

I hear Stacy yell out "I thought you loved me" I keep walking and get to the locker room, I walk inside and sit on one of the benches and let the tears run down my face.

And here I thought you loved me.
