Readers P.O.V

"How's metal for you? Rubber?" You watched as Uta served the last customor today, writing little notes in his skech book such as megiments and styles that could be a possibality for the male ghoul's mask.

"Hmmm... No, Uta, I dont mind anything really," the male ghoul tells him, but for some reason he kept looking at you with his ghoul eyes on, and it was starting to make you unfomfortable and it was really badly freaking you out, "that girl," he asked Uta, "she's human?"

Uta raises his perfectly shaped black eyebrows as he put his favorite sketch book down and crosses his arms, his cardigan falling down his arms, "is that a problem for you, sir?" You jump up onto a tall desk, your legs dangling as you swang them around.

"We're old friends," you add, looking down at the black and white checkered floor, your (h/c)(h/l) falling over your (s/c) face, "and it's a bonus that he doesn't want to eat me," you add, earning a chuckle from Uta and themale ghoul.

"Same," the other ghoul says, "your flesh doesnt seem that appertising to me..... no offence," he chuckles again, showing off some white teeth which had a little bit of flesh in which made you cringe, before standing up and looking up at the clock, "well, it's nearly 10, feeding time for me, goodnight Uta I'll be back for my mask next week, and goodnight miss," he adds before you hear the door slam after him.

You wrinkle your nose at the feeding comment, "eww," you think as you jump down and run to get your coat.

"BYE UTA!" You call out as you reach for the doornob. But of course Uta wasnt letting you off that easily and in one second he was in front of you his arms crossed and looking down at you, as you were smaller than him, "hmm?" you hum.

"You were late," he points out and you mentally face palm. No shit captain obvious, "so I want you to do something for me," you raise you eyebrows at this and Uta blushes slightly, "not like that," he mumbles, his cheeks redening, "I left my coat at Anteiku, so your going to go get it."

You frown, "but Uta!" You whine, "Touka was gonna take me out shopping today!"

Uta tuts then points to the door, signaling that you had no choice. You sign and nod, "I'll be as quick as I can," you promise, grabbing your bag. Uta just nods in response and goes back over to his skech.

You come out into the surprisingly warm night. You smile as you look up at the sky, "I feel compleate knowing your looking at the same stars, my ghoul," you whisper the last pull out your phone to text Touka.

I'll be there soon, grabing Uta's coat, I'll probaly be a little late, meet you in town? ~ (Y/N)

Urg, (y/n)! Hurry up you lazy bastard, it was your fault you were late, and I'll meet you there, I'm gonna be at that book store you and Hide are always at, but if your not here by 11:00pm I'm leaving and your getting no coffee for a month -_- ~ Touka

Yeah yeah, calm down, T, I'll be there as soon as I can, blame Uta, your boy friend ~ (Y/N) (You tease)

Shut up, you bish, I mean it, no coffee for a YEAR! So get your butt over the Anteiku then back to Uta, THEN ME! ~ Touka

Okay Touka - Chan! ~ (Y/n)

You laugh at your weird conversation as you start walking to the ghoul cafe, still thinking about Kaneki. You know he's somewhere out there, but where could he be? He could be a million miles away, or maybe just round the corner, but what bothered you the most was that you didnt know that answer. You don't know how close or far away he was.

But what you didn't know was that he was closer than expected. Very close to you.

You open the door to Anteiku with the spare key that Touka gave you, (You have no idea when you'll want cofee in the middle of the night xD) and instantly spot Uta's dark coat, even though it's pitch black.

As you flip the lights on your eyes a just to the new light, you notice a note on the table next to the dark black coat you were sent to get by your 'boss'.

Hey, hey! It's your favorite nerd here!

Hey, (nickname), I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tomorrow near the book store, I know you love books for some reason, maybe Kaneki rubbed off on you,

Anyway, luv ya as a friend,

You giggle at your boy best friend's note. You and Hide had been getting closer and closer ever since Kaneki left.... and lets just say there might be some unwanted feelings there.....

You smile as you take a seat at the bar, resting your elbow on the side and pulling out your phone to text Hide, but as you do you hear the door open and the sound of many sets of feet coming into the small cafe.

Without turning round you speak out, "sorry, the cafe is closed but it should be open tomorrow if you want to come back," you apoligize, putting your phone away.

"Don't worry, sweetheart," you suddenly freeze at the sound of the male voice speaking, "we didnt come for coffee, we came for you," you slowly turn around and your (e/c) eyes meet purpleish blue ones.

"Ayato......" you whisper, shaking slightly.

"Well hello, (Y/n), long time no see, wouldn't you agree?"
