Readers P.O.V

You can't stand the stares, so you turn you back on them only to be greeted by more eyes. You firmly close you eyes, wanting to disappear but they you feel hot breath tickle your face. You gingerly open your eyes and see that femenine man. You weren't ready when you got your first up close veiw of him so close to you, so you tumble back, casuing him to grab onto your wrist so your dangling in the air.

"Dear oh dear, lost your balance already?" He asks, pulling you up. You quickly nod and stare at your feet, "hmmm," you hear him comment, "not much of a talker hey? Like your so called father," he adds.

You feel your cheeks redden.

"Sorry," you mutter, "I didn't mean to be rude," you at least needed a friend here. The man claps his hands together with enjoyment. You look up to find a small smile on his lipstick stained lips.

"Aren't you just adorable! Im Nico by the way! And don't bother introducing youself, we all know who you are, we've been looking for you for months!" Nico exclaims. You frown. They had been looking for you for months. He was that desperate, but then you remeber the damage you could do when you were longer, even more than the eye patch.

"Oh," was all you could muster, studing his purpleish eyes.

"Yep, now lets not bother with this now, I'm sure your hungry, right?" That last comment made you feel weird inside. When was that acual last time you ate human flesh.....4......5 years ago? Forgetting anyone else was in the room, staring at you, you decide to tell him the truth.

"I don't eat human flesh anymore," you admit, rubbing your arm and turning your head away from his stare. Even though you couldn't see anyones facial expressions you could still see the frowns on their faces, execpt for kaneki maybe...

"Well it's up to your best friend to get you craving human flesh again!" And you feel an arm linked through yours. You turn back to face him with a playful glare on your face.

"Best friend?" You question.

"You like you're gonna need a friend in this place, so I'm replacing whatever bestie best friend, whatever friend you had before me," he grins. He's obviously trying to cheer you up, but you suddenly think of hide. His smile, his laugh and his jokes makes your heart drop. Were you ever going to see him again.

"Thanks," you say, taking you arm out of his, "but no thanks, I already have a best friend, hide, and he can never be replaced, he's the bestest friend I could ever have" you hiss, and angrily walk out of the room.

When you get out of the room you just run around the Aogiri Tree H.Q, which was strangely quiet, till you find a corner where you just sit down, hug your knees and cry.

This was a side of you that you never liked. Your ghoul side. After Ayto left you changed. You changed who you were and how you look. You orginaly had very very long staright hair and very very inhuman pale skin, but you still had your (e/c) eyes. Now you were diffent. And somehow you srill hated yourself.

"Why am I like this?" You whisper angrily, "why is the world cruel....... why do I hurt peopl like I do? I'm a monster...." You feel stupid, suddenly, for crying that is.

You stand up and wipe the tears away from your eyes.

"Finally, it wasn't like you to start crying, normally you just hit everyone in the face," a blue haired ghoul comes in focus, his arms crossed, watching your expression. You only act when you feel his face dangerously close to you.

You turn your head away from his gaze. The gaze you fell in love with. But the same gaze that left you.

You hear a sign then a finger and thumb under your chin, turning your head back to his, "though you're convinced that you've changed, but you're still you," he tells you.

You sign, closing your eyes when you feel 2 strong arms around you. Ayato to was...... Was........ Hugging you?! You gasp slightly before melting into the hug, "Ayato...." You whisper.

"I'm sorry, I can see how much my sister and your human friends meant to you, that guy.......... Hide........," you feel him stiffen. Ayato was a very possessive boyfriend, and if a male so much looked at you they would be dead, to be honest you found it cute.

"I was a monster, knowing I'm back....... I don't know......" You admit and Ayato pulls back and looks you in the eye.

"(F/n), I'm not good with soppy stuff, I just wanna say stop thinking like this idiot. But saying that.....," he trails off still staring into your (e/c). You stay quiet, waiting for him to finish, "You see, the monsters we see are all in our head. And they're trapped there. There's no escaping them. They are always there, waiting for us to let them free. Waiting for an moment to whisper in your ear, "let me free, let me take over." It's your choice if you want to fight them or not. And you........ You have your monsters that take over, but so do I. But we are not monsters, we're just like people, but in our own way."

You shake your head at him as he frowns.

"You don't know how much damage I can do, how I can loose myself so easily, you don't-" your cut off with Ayato kissing your cheek and pulling you into another hug.

"That I'll make sure you'll stay you. Your a surviver."

"OOOOOOOOOOH!" You and Ayato both look behind you and see Nico, eto, the twins and ........ Kaneki.......

"Um sorry....." You mumble breaking away from Ayato and turning to face Nico. All he does is grab you by the shoulders and smiles.

"Me tooooo, sweetie!!!" You can't help but smile slightly as he tilts his head to the side, "now what did you bring here?"

Your smile fades.

"My stuff.......its......its......with.....hide.....and.....uta and...... Touka," you frown, looking at the ground.

"Uta, the famous mask maker!! Aww you must be broken with out all your friends!"

"Yeah."

"Huh?"

"I'm broken, anyway, I'm tired, can I sleep?" You ask, moving
around and shrugging his hands off you and looking around.

"Yeah," you look over at kaneki who had been strangely quiet, who was looking back at you with his silver gravy eyes.

You meet his eyes then instantly look away. He caught you with ayato, hugging him and him kissing your cheek. And you......you.....you still loved him......and........ Ayato.

"Thanks," as you look up to see him turning his head away. You follow him as the others watch after you, your arms crossed looking at his back heels. Why?
